Polycystic ovary menstruation

Polycystic ovary menstruation

Polycystic ovary is a relatively common disease at present, which will cause many impacts and harms to the human body. First of all, polycystic ovary often leads to irregular menstruation, continuous menstruation, and even the need to wear sanitary napkins for a long time. Polycystic ovary is generally treated mainly through oral medication or surgery. In daily life, you should also pay attention to conditioning.

How to treat polycystic ovary

The key to treating this disease is to allow the body to ovulate normally and rebuild a regular menstrual cycle, so that pregnancy is possible. Currently, there are several main methods for treating polycystic ovary:

1. Medication

Oral medications can change the hormone levels in the body and maintain the internal environment in a relatively stable state. After continuous use, the ovaries may slowly return to their original state. If you are taking Chinese medicine, then there should not be any big problem. If you are taking Western medicine such as oral hormones, then there may be certain side effects, such as abdominal distension, headache, hot flashes, etc., and some hormones are more expensive, so the patient's family needs to do what they can. However, drug treatment is relatively simple and does not cause any external trauma to the patient's body. It is one of the more commonly used treatment methods.

2. Surgery

Surgical treatment is a treatment method that appeared in the mid-1930s and is a landmark advancement. Surgery can be used to remove a portion of the granulosa cells in the ovaries and inhibit the production of androgens. The effect is quicker and more obvious, and after the operation, most women will gradually resume ovulation and menstruation, and many will successfully conceive. The more popular surgical methods now include: bilateral ovarian wedge resection, laser perforation treatment and transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy, etc.

3. Assisted Reproductive Treatment

For women who are eager to have children but other treatments have not been effective, assisted reproductive methods can be used to help them solve the problem. For example, you can do in vitro fertilization, or cultivate the egg cells to maturity in vitro and then try to get pregnant. Although this method can solve the immediate problem, it does not mean that polycystic ovary can be left alone. After giving birth, women should return to treatment as soon as possible.

Daily conditioning of polycystic ovary

Although we are not doctors and do not know professional treatment methods, we can still prevent and regulate polycystic ovary by starting with the little things in our daily lives:

1. Avoid humid living environments to prevent cold air from invading your body and make sure not to ruin your physical condition.

2. Diet adjustment. Eat less fatty meat, stay away from tobacco and alcohol, avoid spicy food if possible, eat more whole grains, vegetables and fruits, it is best to eat fresh and seasonal food to avoid accidentally ingesting harmful ingredients such as pesticide residues in food. Some ingredients are very good for the kidneys and spleen, and can replenish qi and nourish blood. You can use them more often in your daily cooking, such as white radish, coix seed, water chestnut, seaweed, etc.

3. Exercise conditioning. Exercise can help you lose weight, strengthen your physical fitness, and relax your body and mind. It is a very good conditioning method for people with polycystic ovary or, especially those who are obese. Walking, jogging, dancing, playing ball, swimming, etc. are all good ways to exercise. In fact, exercise is beneficial and harmless to all women, and you cannot stop exercising during pregnancy, as this will be harmful to both the fetus and the pregnant woman.

4. Pay more attention to rest, avoid overwork, and don’t stay up late. Sleep at night recharges the body, leaving only a small number of employees in the endocrine system to continue working. If employees on the endocrine line cannot get enough sleep, their working order will be disrupted, and there will definitely be strikes and protests. Over time, the ovaries will definitely be affected.
