During pregnancy, pregnant women have relatively poor physical constitution and are vulnerable to diseases, such as bacterial and viral infections. Vaccinations during pregnancy can effectively prevent diseases. Pregnant women should be aware of some precautions when getting vaccinated. Active attenuated vaccines are strictly prohibited. Some vaccines can be given, and you should have some understanding in this regard. Can pregnant women get vaccinated? Remember! All live attenuated vaccines are prohibited for pregnant mothers! Women of childbearing age should use contraception within 3 months after receiving live vaccines. Other inactive vaccines should be administered only after evaluation by a physician and confirmation that they are necessary. 1. Both vaccines can be injected by pregnant mothers. People who have not been vaccinated with tetanus toxoid and diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus vaccine for a long time and may be infected with tetanus bacteria due to trauma should be given tetanus antitoxin in time as an emergency measure. Pregnant women without immunity should be injected with tetanus toxoid or diphtheria and pertussis vaccine in time to prevent infection. After the toxoid is injected, not only will pregnant women produce antibodies, but it will also have a protective effect on newborns. [Vaccination method]: The first injection is given in the fourth month of pregnancy, with a dose of 0.5 ml (containing 5 units). The second injection is given after an interval of 6 weeks or longer, with the same dose as before. The second dose should be given at least 4 weeks before the expected date of delivery. If the injection is given too close to delivery, there is no guarantee that the mother will produce enough antibodies by the time of delivery. [Precautions]: If the pregnant mother has been infected with tetanus, human blood tetanus immune globulin can be used without worrying about allergies. 2. Rabies vaccine is a dead vaccine and pregnant women can be vaccinated. Even your own pet dog has a 30% chance of carrying the virus. Therefore, pregnant women must be given rabies vaccination after being bitten by a dog. [Vaccination method]: Inject one shot of rabies vaccine on the day of the bite and on the 3rd, 7th, 14th and 30th days. [Precautions]: Severe bites refer to those with deep bites on the upper limbs, head, face or multiple parts of the body caused by mad dogs. Rabies immunoglobulin or anti-rabies serum (40 units or 0.5-1 ml per kilogram of body weight) should be injected immediately. Then inject rabies vaccine according to the above procedure. 3. There are two types of hepatitis B vaccines One is that blood-derived vaccines are strictly sterilized, will not cause infection, and are safe and reliable. The other is a genetically engineered vaccine, which does not contain the entire virus and is safer. Hepatitis B vaccine is an inactivated vaccine. Pregnant women who are not infected with hepatitis B virus can be directly injected with hepatitis B vaccine. Pregnant women who have been infected with hepatitis B virus (surface antigen positive) do not need to be vaccinated against hepatitis B. If you are suspected of being infected, you can be given a shot of hepatitis B immune globulin. Those with negative surface antigen need to be injected with hepatitis B vaccine three times in a row. [Vaccination method]: After the first injection, inject again after 1 month and 6 months, for a total of 3 times. [Notes]: If the pregnant woman herself is HBSAG positive, especially with positive E antigen, the hepatitis B vaccine will not be effective. The hepatitis B vaccine can be given to the child for the first time, every 1 month, and every 6 months after delivery according to the vaccination method. It can prevent children from being infected with hepatitis B virus. Live viral vaccines such as chickenpox, rubella, measles, mumps, oral polio vaccine, whooping cough vaccine, etc. should not be used by pregnant women. For safety reasons, pregnant women with a history of miscarriage should not receive any vaccinations. Vaccinations are under the jurisdiction of the epidemic prevention department, but hepatitis B vaccine and immunoglobulin G should be arranged by hospitals or maternity hospitals. |
