What to do if you have irregular menstruation and chest pain

Irregular menstruation includes many factors, which is a problem worthy of attention. Irregular menstruation in women mainly includes the early or delayed menarche age of women, as well as many changes in the time and amount of menstruation, which will threaten women's health and will happen to people of different ages. Therefore, it is necessary for everyone to understand how harmful irregular menstruation is to the body.

Symptoms of irregular menstruation in people of different ages

Around 30 years old: Women whose skin has obvious spots, sagging, dullness, large pores, roughness, constant acne and other abnormal phenomena. The accumulation of toxins in women's bodies is not conducive to the detoxification of the uterus and ovaries, leading to aging and infertility.

Between 30 and 40 years old: those with endocrine disorders, such as irregular menstruation, age spots, dry vulva, loss of libido, and other female secondary sexual characteristics that have significantly declined or weakened, as well as women with menopausal symptoms.

Between 40 and 55 years old: women who experience menopausal symptoms such as insomnia, decreased energy and physical strength, memory loss, and osteoporosis;

Over 55 years old: middle-aged and elderly women whose kidney function has declined significantly and whose ovaries have basically atrophied.

1. Symptoms of irregular menstruation in girls

(1) Menstruation usually starts after the age of 18, and then becomes irregular, with more or less menstrual flow. The cycle gradually delays and often stops, and weight gain or hirsutism occurs.

(2) Menstruation stops for several months after menarche, the menstrual flow is heavy or even like heavy bleeding, or there is an appearance of anemia. This symptom is mostly due to dysfunctional uterine bleeding in adolescence.

(3) The first menstruation is normal, but the second menstruation comes again 4-5 days after the second menstruation stops. This repeats for several months without any cycle or regularity, and there are almost no clean days. The menstrual flow is less, and the color of the menstrual period may be bright red, brown, or sauce-colored. There may be no discomfort or only mild fatigue, and no treatment is needed.

2. Irregular menstruation during menopause

(1) Cycle disorder. The normal menstrual cycle changes to irregular vaginal bleeding, which is sometimes prolonged or becomes continuous vaginal bleeding, which continues for 1 to 2 months. Heavy vaginal bleeding may also occur, and the patient may develop anemia, sallow complexion, general fatigue, palpitations, and shortness of breath. In severe cases, hemoglobin may be significantly reduced. Some women have repeated bleeding, but generally after 1 to 2 years, menstruation stops completely.

(2) Infrequent menstruation. The interval between menstrual cycles of menopausal women will become longer, from the normal 20 to 30 days to 2 to 3 months or longer. The menstrual flow may be normal or less than before, and the interval between menstruation may gradually increase to 4 to 5 months or half a year, until it stops completely.

(3) Sudden menopause. A small number of women have had normal menstrual cycles and periods in the past, but now suddenly go into menopause; others have normal cycles, with only a few periods where the amount of menstruation gradually decreases, and then menstruation suddenly stops. Sudden menopause is a relatively rare symptom of menopausal irregularities in women.

Warm reminder: Due to endocrine disorders, patients with irregular menstruation will have obvious aging symptoms such as pigmentation, sagging, roughness, and even sagging breasts, loss of libido, poor memory, and obvious weakening of secondary sexual characteristics, causing patients to enter menopause prematurely, which has endless consequences and may even be life-threatening in severe cases. Therefore, patients must pay more attention in their daily lives and consult a doctor immediately if any related symptoms occur.
