Why do I have lower abdominal pain and nausea?

Stomach pain often occurs in life, and some people may also experience nausea when in pain. When it comes to stomach pain, people often think it is a stomach problem. Women often suffer from abdominal pain due to menstrual cramps, and the cause of abdominal pain is also related to the food we eat. Adolescent girls often suffer from unbearable abdominal pain due to eating too much cold food. Why do women experience abdominal pain and nausea? Follow the editor to find out the truth with questions.

1 Ovulation abdominal pain. When adolescent girls ovulate, the follicle ruptures and the follicular fluid may have a certain stimulating effect on the peritoneum, so they sometimes experience mild abdominal pain that alternates between the left and right sides once a month. This is physiological, and the symptoms are usually dull pain, heaviness or heaviness in the lower abdomen on one side.

2 Dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea is divided into primary and secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary pain is often seen in adolescent girls. It is related to the level of prostaglandins in the body, cold, emotional and psychological factors, but there is no organic disease. It can generally heal itself with age or after marriage and childbirth. Common causes of secondary pain are endometriosis and adenomyosis.

3. Rupture of the ovarian corpus luteum. This is caused by excessive bleeding in the corpus luteum, accompanied by sudden onset of abdominal pain in the lower abdomen or one side, and in severe cases, shock may occur. Most cases of ovarian corpus luteum rupture occur between the 20th and 26th days of the menstrual cycle, and lower abdominal pain may occur with varying degrees of severity.

4. Ovarian cyst pedicle torsion or rupture. This is because the cyst has a long pedicle, a large volume, no adhesions to the surrounding area, and is highly mobile, and twists when affected by intestinal peristalsis or changes in body position. When the pedicle of an ovarian tumor is twisted, pain suddenly occurs on one side of the lower abdomen, which is persistent colic, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting; there may be obvious tenderness and muscle tension in the abdomen.

It seems that the reason for abdominal pain in women is not just dysmenorrhea. We also know about other situations. When we have abdominal pain, we can take better corresponding measures and clearly understand the signals sent by the body to better protect our health. If the nausea lasts too long, you must see a doctor immediately.
