How to prevent recurrence of pelvic inflammatory disease

In our lives, pelvic inflammatory disease is a common gynecological disease. This gynecological disease is a special itching in the female lower body, and it is also troublesome to treat. After the treatment, it is necessary to develop good living habits, so as to prevent the disease from recurring. Because pelvic inflammatory disease is always recurring, how to prevent the recurrence of pelvic inflammatory disease?

How to prevent recurrence of pelvic inflammatory disease

1. Don’t forget to exercise when you are busy

You can participate in various forms of sports activities, especially endurance training such as running and mountain climbing, to enhance your resistance.

Nowadays, women in cities, especially professional women, are under increasing work pressure and have increasingly tight schedules. They are exhausted both physically and mentally and have basically no free time. Even if they do have a little free time, it is often spent on sleeping. As a result, physical strength becomes worse and worse, and resistance becomes lower and lower. Over time, this often gives bacteria an opportunity to take advantage, making the population a high-risk group for pelvic inflammatory disease. Therefore, female friends should use every possible time to strengthen exercise, such as riding a bicycle to work, getting off the bus two stops in advance and walking to the office, standing up and stretching muscles during work breaks, doing gymnastics while watching TV at home.

2. Lose weight without losing nutrition

Some female friends, fearing obesity, simply rely on not eating to lose weight, which puts the body in an extremely weak state, and may even cause serious damage to the liver and kidney functions, or become mentally anorexic. If adequate nutrition is not provided in time, the body's resistance will drop sharply, which may lead to various types of infections and even pelvic inflammatory disease.

The correct way is that while women are dieting, they may as well eat more high-protein foods, such as lean meat, soy products, and eat more vegetables and fruits, which can not only meet the needs of the human body but also will not increase weight.

3. Pay attention to menstrual hygiene

At present, most female friends can avoid having sex during menstruation. However, due to the increasing work pressure of modern professional women, they cannot get enough rest during menstruation and have to work as hard as men. Over time, this can easily lead to pelvic congestion, decreased resistance, and pelvic inflammatory disease.

Therefore, women should first avoid having sex during menstruation; secondly, they should pay attention to rest, such as letting their husband or children do the housework and they can be the overall commander.

4. Fixed sexual partner

With the progress of society, people's sexual concepts are gradually changing. Extramarital sex and multiple sexual partners have become commonplace. However, the increase in sexual partners also brings new sources of infection to female friends, especially when both men and women have multiple sexual partners. The probability of women developing pelvic inflammatory disease is dozens of times higher than that of women with fixed sexual partners, and the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases also increases exponentially. Therefore, a serious attitude towards sex and a fixed sexual partner are the principles we should adhere to.

5. Use condoms

An effective and low-cost way to prevent pelvic inflammatory disease is to vigorously promote the use of condoms. According to a survey, the incidence of pelvic inflammatory disease among female friends who insist on using condoms is significantly lower than that of women of the same age who do not use condoms. This method is especially effective for women with multiple sexual partners and complex sexual relationships.

Studies have shown that even between couples, using condoms can significantly reduce the incidence of pelvic inflammatory disease in women. Therefore, we should update our ideas. Condoms are not only a good way of contraception, but also can protect female friends from the painful torture of pelvic inflammatory disease.
