Black discharge after menstruation

Black discharge after menstruation

Most women do not want to have any problems with their menstruation, because if there are problems with their menstruation, there is a high probability that they are caused by gynecological diseases. Normal women will secrete red or dark red blood during menstruation. However, some women secrete a black discharge from their lower body after their menstruation, which looks very disgusting. So what is the reason why women secrete black discharge after their period?

1. Consider that the menstruation is not completely discharged

Menstrual blood will return within 1 to 2 days after the end of menstruation, and sometimes it will appear as brown leucorrhea. This is actually a normal physiological phenomenon for women. Normal menstruation is generally egg white-like or white and paste-like, and has no odor. But if brown discharge appears in the middle of two menstrual periods, it may be ovulation bleeding.

2. Consider endocrine disorders

When a woman's endocrine system becomes abnormal, such as becoming unstable or defective, it can also cause many discomforts, such as irregular menstruation, abnormal leucorrhea, functional uterine bleeding, etc.

3. Consider that the menstrual blood is not smooth

First of all, black blood after menstruation may be due to poor discharge of menstrual blood, which leads to long-term congestion and residue in the uterus, and the amount of bleeding is less at this time. Of course, it may also be caused by cervical erosion.

Secondly, if there is intermittent brown discharge after menstruation, it is likely luteal insufficiency. Due to luteal insufficiency, the progesterone secreted by the corpus luteum is insufficient to support the development of the endometrium during the secretory period. Of course, in addition to corpus luteum insufficiency, there may also be problems such as corpus luteum atrophy, endometrial inflammation, and endometrial polyps.

How to regulate one week after menstruation

1. Do some exercise

If many women experience discomfort during menstruation, they will become less willing to move. Therefore, it is suitable to do some exercise after menstruation, but not too intense exercise. It is recommended to take a walk or do some relaxing exercises such as yoga.

2. Get enough rest

If a woman experiences dysmenorrhea during her menstrual period, she may not be able to eat or sleep well. After her menstrual period is over, she should give her body enough rest time to restore its various functions.

3. Nutrition and health of food

The nutrition we are talking about here does not mean that female friends should eat a lot of meat and fish after the menstruation ends, but to choose some dark green vegetables, warm fruits and eat more red meat. Because these foods are rich in protein, vitamins and minerals, they can nourish the body.
