Brown discharge after blastocyst transfer

Brown discharge after blastocyst transfer

Brown discharge appears after the blastocyst is transplanted. At this time, it is often considered that it is due to unstable embryo implantation, or insufficient corpus luteum in the body and insufficient estrogen secretion, which is a manifestation of threatened abortion. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the dosage of estrogen to carry out pregnancy-maintaining treatment. Generally, you need to take a progesterone injection while taking dydrogesterone orally to supplement the body's estrogen to carry out symptomatic treatment and maintain pregnancy. During this period, sexual intercourse and any other activities are strictly prohibited. You must stay in bed and rest until the brown discharge completely subsides.

Brown discharge after embryo transfer is a sign of embryo instability in early pregnancy and a precursor to miscarriage. In vitro fertilization is a test tube procedure, and the patient herself is an infertile patient and may have abnormalities in endocrine, uterus, ovary, etc. After using artificial in vitro fertilization, many patients have brown discharge in the vagina.

Generally, after doing in vitro fertilization and test tube transplantation, growth hormone is used. For example, using hcg gonadotropin and corpus luteum copper injection. If brown discharge continues to appear, it is necessary to prevent the test tube embryo from terminating its growth and development. Pay attention to bed rest, use growth hormone to support, and do B-ultrasound 30 days after embryo transfer to check for the presence of fetal heartbeat and fetal bud.

For women with severe bilateral fallopian tube obstruction, if hysteroscopy cannot clear them, they can only consider in vitro fertilization. The embryo will implant in the uterine cavity about a week after embryo transfer. If brown discharge appears 8-10 days after transfer, two possibilities should be considered: First, the embryo has implanted successfully, causing a small amount of endometrium to shed, resulting in brown discharge. Second, because the transplantation failed, the uterine wall completely fell off. When the transplantation failed, the endometrium had not yet completely fallen off, so only a small amount of brown secretions appeared, and there was no obvious menstrual blood.
