Is it normal to have a lot of blood clots?

The main working principle of removing a child through medical abortion is to use drugs to inhibit the development of the embryo, causing the embryo to flow out through the vagina, which will inevitably cause bleeding problems. However, if the condition or amount of blood is abnormal, women need to pay attention to it. Some girls will have a lot of blood clots after medical abortion, which is actually most likely due to the woman's own physical reasons, or caused by bacterial infection.

1. Medical abortion is a commonly used method to terminate an unexpected pregnancy within 49 days. Before abortion, a B-ultrasound must be done to confirm intrauterine pregnancy and exclude ectopic pregnancy. The main abortion drugs are mifepristone and misoprostol combined. Mifepristone was taken at home for two days and miso was taken in the hospital on the third day. After taking miso, the gestational sac is usually expelled within six hours, and there will be a small amount of vaginal bleeding afterwards, which is normal if it stops within ten days. During this period, there is slight lower abdominal pain and back pain, which is also normal and is a sign of uterine contraction.

2. The side effect of medical abortion is heavy bleeding! During the abdominal pain and bleeding process, close observation should be made, and attention should be paid to the discharge of tissue. If white fleshy tissue is seen being discharged, it should be reported to the person on duty to check whether it is a gestational sac!

It is normal to discharge blood clots during medical abortion. Generally, 2 to 48 hours after all the drugs are taken, abdominal pain and bleeding will worsen, and the possibility of the gestational sac being discharged is greatest. Take the medicine for fourteen days and recheck the B-ultrasound to determine whether the abortion is clean.

Choose medical abortion within 49 days of pregnancy. The side effects of medical abortion are relatively small, and this period is the best time for medical abortion. Medical abortion refers to the use of Mifepristone tablets plus misoprostol to terminate early pregnancy. The former causes degeneration and necrosis of the uterine decidua and softening of the cervix, while the latter causes contraction of the uterus and promotes the expulsion of the embryo.

3. It usually takes three to four days to terminate an unwanted pregnancy with medical abortion. Under normal circumstances, it takes four days to take the medicine for medical abortion, on an empty stomach, one tablet each morning and evening for the first three days, and three tablets at a time on the fourth day. Generally, there is no feeling in the first three days, but the pain becomes more severe after taking the medicine on the fourth day. Some people do not react obviously.

4. Not only does medical abortion take a long time, but it also generally takes about 2 weeks of rest. Pay attention to vaginal bleeding after medical abortion. Once the amount of vaginal bleeding is greater than the usual menstrual volume or is accompanied by other discomfort symptoms, you must go to the hospital in time to avoid unnecessary trouble to your health.
