Pregnancy test results

If a woman goes to the hospital to check her blood hcg and progesterone levels to see if she is pregnant, she needs to make a judgment based on the test results. If the actual data of the test result exceeds the maximum level of non-pregnancy, it means that you are already pregnant. In most cases, an hcg level exceeding 50u/l means pregnancy. In some hospitals, an hcg level exceeding 5u/l may mean pregnancy. Although progesterone cannot directly diagnose whether pregnancy is present, it can be used to determine the possibility of ectopic pregnancy.

The various results in the urine routine test report cannot determine whether a woman is pregnant. If you want to confirm whether you are pregnant, you can test whether the human hCG gonadotropin level in the urine is elevated. The pregnancy test strips bought in the pharmacy also accurately measure the human crude hCG gonadotropin level in the urine. If it is elevated, it is positive, which means pregnancy. However, the most accurate test method is to directly test the HCG result in the blood, which is more accurate than urine. The results of a routine urine test can confirm whether urethral bleeding or urethral infection occurs.

How to read the blood test pregnancy test report

To check whether you are pregnant or not, you only need to see if the test result is within the standard range of not pregnant. If the hcg value of the test result exceeds the maximum value of the non-pregnant state, then it means that pregnancy has been diagnosed. If the hcg value is within the standard range of non-pregnancy, it means that the hcg is negative at this moment, so there is no pregnancy. However, for women with delayed menstrual cycles, a negative hCG test too early cannot completely rule out pregnancy. Therefore, it is recommended to have a blood hCG test 11 days after the last sexual intercourse for a more accurate result.

That is the hcg value in the blood test. You can test the hcg value in the blood 8-10 days after having sex to determine whether you are pregnant. If blood hcg <3.1u/L, it indicates that you are not pregnant. If the standard value is >5.1u/L, it indicates that the pregnancy is 7-10 days; if it is >100u/L, it indicates that the pregnancy is 30 days; if the standard value is >2000u/L, it indicates that the pregnancy is 40 days. Blood hcg reaches its peak at 50,000-100,000u/L during 8-10 weeks of pregnancy.
