What's wrong with a girl having her periods twice a month?

As we all know, women have their menstruation once a month, and the menstrual cycle is about 25 to 30 days. Women's menstruation will be affected by many things, and sometimes it is normal to have its menstruation a few days earlier or later. But if a girl has her menstruation twice a month, it is very abnormal. The reasons behind this are very complicated, and may be some gynecological diseases, or contraceptive factors, etc.

What's wrong with a girl having her periods twice a month?

A fifteen-year-old girl is still a girl who has just started menstruating. Such girls have not had sex and generally will not have inflammation or serious diseases of the reproductive system. Women have menstruation once a month, but why does a 15-year-old girl have menstruation twice a month?

Women's menstruation is regulated by the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian gonadal axis. Mental factors, mood swings, environmental changes, pregnancy, age, illness, medication, and nutritional status can all cause dysfunction of the gonad axis and lead to menstrual abnormalities.

Menstrual disorders are mainly caused by endocrine dysfunction, but can also be caused by systemic diseases or local diseases of the reproductive organs. "Irregular menstruation" in traditional Chinese medicine is equivalent to a part of "menstrual disorders" in modern medicine, and does not include menstrual abnormalities caused by internal and external genital organ lesions. The disease is mainly caused by the seven emotions, the six external evils, or congenital kidney deficiency, frequent childbirth, excessive fatigue, which damages the internal organs, malfunctions of the kidneys, liver and spleen, and imbalance of qi and blood, resulting in damage to the Chong and Ren meridians and irregular menstruation.

If there is sudden bleeding about 10 days after the end of the cycle, it is in the middle of the menstrual period and it is ovulation bleeding. Ovulation bleeding is a normal phenomenon. It is caused by the rupture of the follicle and the sudden decrease in estrogen, which causes breakthrough bleeding of the endometrium. Generally, the bleeding will stop on its own within 3-5 days. If it happens once in a while, you don't need to take any action, but if you have your period twice a month on a regular basis, you need to go to the hospital for diagnosis in time.

From the introduction in this article, we can know that if a fifteen-year-old girl has two periods a month, there are generally two possibilities. One is irregular menstruation, and the other is severe ovulation bleeding. No matter what kind of problem it is, it means that there is a problem with the girl's menstruation. It is best to regulate it in time.
