Make the bed

Drink soup

The sweating soup should be drunk while it is hot. The specific amount to drink depends on a person's daily alcohol tolerance and reaction to the sweating soup. The confinement nanny heard that I could drink one pound of liquor before I gave birth, and she was worried that one pound of liquor would not be enough for me to sweat. Facts proved that her worry was unnecessary. After giving birth, I had no alcohol tolerance at all. But I didn't know until I practiced it. I thought I could drink a lot, so I picked up the big bowl and gulped down most of it. I stopped because I felt too full. The soup was hot and spicy and tasted really bad! !

Cover your sweat

When drinking the soup, you should sit in the quilt. After drinking, lie down quickly, cover yourself with a towel blanket first, and then cover yourself with a quilt. In summer, you can cover yourself with less, and in winter you can cover yourself with two quilts. The rule is that the entire body except the eyes must be covered tightly, the doors and windows in the room must be closed, and there must be no draft. After drinking the soup, I felt the heat slowly spreading from my stomach to the outside. I was prone to sweating during the confinement period, and after a while, I started to sweat profusely.

Be careful to prevent heat stroke

When the mother is sweating, because she has to cover herself with many quilts, drink hot soup that induces sweating, and the room is not ventilated, someone must be with her. Do not let the mother fall asleep, and keep her hydrated (feed her water with a straw cup every once in a while).

The best time to sweat during confinement

The best time is 30 days after delivery. Also note that there are some rules for sweating after childbirth. Many mothers and even ordinary people believe that they should take Chinese medicine to sweat on the 3rd, 7th and 30th days after childbirth to drive out the toxins and cold in the body, so as to avoid body pain, back pain, leg pain and joint pain. In fact, this understanding is unscientific.
