What to do if you have a severe cough during 7 months of pregnancy

The number of pregnant women around us may gradually increase because the country’s two-child policy is also responding positively. Of course, we need to always pay attention to the health of pregnant women, because women's bodies are very weak during pregnancy. And women must avoid taking certain medications during pregnancy to avoid harm. So let’s find out what to do if you have a severe cough during your seventh month of pregnancy.

1. Steamed oranges with salt

Ingredients: 1 orange, 1/3 spoon of salt.

practice:

1. Wash the oranges thoroughly and soak them in salt water for a while.

2. Cut off the top of the orange, just like the orange cup

3. Sprinkle a little salt evenly on the orange flesh, poke it a few times with chopsticks to make it easier for the salt to penetrate, and use a toothpick to hold the orange in place.

4. Put it in a bowl and steam it for about ten minutes after the water boils.

5. Take it out, peel it, and eat the flesh together with the steamed water.

suggestion:

1. The orange peel must be washed clean and soaked in salt water to have a certain disinfecting effect.

2. Don’t add too much salt, as it will make the taste bad.

2. Apply essential oil

When you suffer from asthma and have a persistent cough, you can apply Fengyoujing to the front of your neck and both sides of your neck. The cough will stop immediately and the wheezing and phlegm will be relieved at the same time.

3. Garlic foot massage

Every night before going to bed, wash your feet and apply thin slices of garlic on the Yongquan acupoint on the sole of the foot (located at 1/3 of the foot), and stick it tightly with medical tape. The application time is about 8 hours (garlic is irritating to the skin, so the application time should not be too long). It has certain therapeutic effects on cough, epistaxis (commonly known as nosebleed) and constipation. The effect will be better if applied continuously for 7 to 10 days.

A small number of people develop blisters on the soles of their feet after applying garlic. You can stop applying the garlic and wait for the blisters to break and the skin to recover before applying the garlic again. Generally, blisters will not appear again.

4. Eat ginger slices

Wash and peel a piece of ginger, cut it into slices, and put a slice in your mouth when you cough, and the cough will stop immediately. Take another tablet when your throat itches again, twice a day, once before going to bed at night, and two or three times the next day, and your cough will be cured.

5. Stimulate acupoints to treat colds

Use a metal spoon to warm it in boiling water (not to the extent that it does not burn your hands), then place it on the "cold-curing point" on the surface of your palm and massage. If there is any abnormality in any part, strengthen the massage there. After a short heat massage, stimulate the area with a spoon soaked in cold water. Stimulate 5-10 times according to the above method.

The cold-treating point on the palm is located between the thumb and index finger of the left hand (near the base of the thumb) and on the palm surface below the second joint of the right thumb.

6. Endothermic Steam

Pour hot water at about 42°C into a thermos teacup. People with a cold should put their mouth and nose into the cup and continuously inhale the hot steam, three times a day.

7. Do gymnastics

When you feel itchy in your nose and throat, do the following exercises 2-3 times and you will be cured.

The method is: stand upright with your feet slightly apart, straighten your neck, raise your head as far as possible, open your eyes wide, stick out your tongue as long as possible, straighten all ten fingers of both hands, and then exert force from the top of your head to your hands and toes until your whole body trembles and makes a continuous "ah" sound, repeat 2-3 times.
