Folk remedies for emergency contraception

1. Purple eggplant flowers for contraception

[Prescription] 14 purple eggplant flowers (in bud), appropriate amount of rice wine.

[Preparation and Usage] Place the purple eggplant flowers on new tiles to dry, then grind them into fine powder. Take it with rice wine after delivery or after menstruation, once a day, for 7 consecutive days.

[Effect] Contraception.

2. Persimmon pedicle with handle for contraception

[Prescription] Roast the persimmon calyx with stalk on a tile until dry, then press it into powder. Take it with rice wine within 2 days after the menstruation is over. Taking it once can provide contraception for 1 year.

[Effect] Contraception.

3. Rapeseed and Chinese medicine contraception

[Prescription] 20g rapeseed, 15g raw rehmannia, 15g white peony root, 15g angelica, and 5g chuanxiong.

[Preparation and Usage] Decoction in water. After the menstruation is over, take one dose daily for 3 consecutive days, which can provide contraception for 1 month. If made into pills and taken for 3 consecutive months, it can be used for long-term contraception.

4. Black fungus and brown sugar paste for contraception

[Prescription] Cook black fungus until very soft, add brown sugar and continue cooking until it becomes a paste. Take with rice wine on an empty stomach, twice a day, within 3 to 7 days after delivery.

[Effects] This Chinese medicine remedy can be used for contraception.
