Low urine creatinine in women

Low urine creatinine in women

Creatinine is a substance metabolized by muscle in the human body. Every 20g of muscle metabolism can produce 1mg of creatinine. Creatinine in the blood comes from two sources: exogenous and endogenous. Exogenous creatinine is a substance produced after meat food is metabolized by the body; endogenous creatinine is a substance produced by the metabolism of the body's muscle tissue. When the intake of meat is stable and there is no major change in the body's muscle metabolism, the conversion of creatinine will be relatively stable. What is the reason for low urine creatinine?

What causes low urine creatinine?

1. The creatinine substance in the human body is mainly produced by creatine from muscle metabolism. Creatinine is metabolized out of the body according to kidney function. Under normal circumstances, because the body's fat rate is relatively stable, the amount of creatinine produced is also stable. The level of blood creatinine mainly depends on how much creatinine is excreted by the kidneys. The reparative function of the kidneys is very strong. If both kidneys are functioning normally, blood creatinine can be maintained at normal levels as long as one kidney is functioning properly. In other words, only when the level of kidney function damage accounts for more than half of the total kidney function will it cause an increase or slight decrease in blood creatinine.

2. In renal function tests, when the urea nitrogen and creatinine results are lower than the standard values, there are generally no clinical manifestations. There are many reasons for low creatinine, which may be related to anemia, muscular dystrophy, muscle atrophy, sepsis, diabetes insipidus and other diseases. If the creatinine measurement value is slightly lower than the normal creatinine value, you can have another follow-up visit.

What diet should be taken for abnormal creatinine?

1. Limit protein intake: (such as meat, eggs, and dairy products have good protein quality) protein intake should be controlled at 0.6 grams per kilogram of body weight. For example, if the body weight is 50 kg, the daily protein intake should be controlled at about 30 grams.

2. Sufficient calories: Because the intake of protein is limited, the intake of rice is also limited, which can easily lead to insufficient calories. At this time, the original protein in the body will be consumed, which will increase the urea solution and weaken the resistance. Therefore, after the activity, it is necessary to eat more high-calorie foods and low-protein foods (glycogen such as white sugar, honey, fruit candy, etc.; vegetable oils and protein powders such as glass noodles, sago, etc.)
