What is the reason for the small fleshy buds on the labia?

The female reproductive structure is relatively complex and is easily invaded by bacteria and viruses. Because the female reproductive organs do not have sufficient barriers to protect the internal vagina and other tissues, it is completely insufficient to rely solely on the labia for protection. The labia itself can also suffer from many diseases. For example, what is the matter with small granulations on the labia? Let's take a look at the explanation below, I hope everyone can understand it.

Vulvar pseudocondyloma refers to a benign papilloma occurring in the female vaginal mucosa, also known as villous labia minora. The rash looks very similar to early genital warts.

Cause: This disease is an abnormal proliferation of female mucosa and the cause is unknown. There is currently no evidence that the rash is associated with bacterial or fungal infection.

Clinical manifestations

The initial symptoms of genital warts are light pink or dirty red millet-sized growths that are papular, nipple-like, cauliflower-like, or cockscomb-like in shape. They are delicate in nature, slightly pointed at the top, painless or itchy, and gradually grow larger or increase in number. Warts located in hot, humid areas often appear filamentous or papilloma-like and easily fuse into large masses. The base of the growth is slightly wide or has bands, the surface has granules, the surface is moist or bleeding, pus is often concentrated between the granules, and it emits a foul odor. Scratching may lead to suppuration. Genital warts located in drier areas with lower humidity often have small lesions that appear as flat warts.

examine

1. Histopathological examination

No vacuolar cells were found in the epidermis, but the mucosal epithelium showed widespread vacuolar appearance, which were uniform in size, lightly chromatinized, and some nuclei were pyknotic.

2. Acetic acid white test

The acetowhite test was negative.

treat

Usually no treatment is needed; explanation is the main approach. For those who are extremely fearful and strongly demand treatment, cryotherapy and laser treatment can be used in batches.

For those with obvious itching, glucocorticoids can be mixed with polysulfate mucopolysaccharide cream for short-term use, and oral antihistamines can be taken if necessary.

Remember to wash with warm water every day, avoid spicy and irritating foods, reduce sweating, wear loose and breathable pants, avoid excessive friction, eat more vegetables and fruits, and pay attention to strengthening your physical fitness.
