Remedies for premature placenta

Remedies for premature placenta

Premature placenta will affect fetal nutrition and oxygen supply, that is, it will affect fetal growth and development. It is generally related to high blood pressure, diabetes and excessive calcium absorption. However, many pregnant women still experience premature placenta. When this happens, pregnant women and their families are often overly nervous. In fact, there are certain remedies for premature placenta. The following editor will lead you to learn about the remedies for premature placenta in detail.

There are four levels of placental maturity: 0, 1, 2, and 3. Level 1 indicates that the placenta is basically mature; level 2 indicates that the placenta is mature; level 3 indicates that the placenta is aged. Due to calcification and cellulose deposition, the placenta's ability to distribute oxygen and nutrients is reduced, and the fetus is in danger at any time.

Everyone's situation is different. Placenta: mid-pregnancy (12-28 weeks) - placenta grade 0; late pregnancy (30-32 weeks) - placenta I; after 36 weeks - placenta grade II (relatively mature). If a grade III placenta is found before 37 weeks and combined with the value of the biparietal diameter and the estimated fetal weight of 2500 grams, placental precocity should be considered and the patient should be alert to the possibility of intrauterine growth retardation. At 38 weeks, the placenta enters grade III, marking placental maturity.

Generally, the placenta is grade II (more mature) after 36 weeks. If a grade III placenta is found before 37 weeks and combined with the value of the biparietal diameter and the estimated fetal weight of 2500 grams, precocious placenta should be considered.

Placental grading is a measure of the maturity of the placenta and fetus and is related to gestational age.

Grade 2: Indicates that the placenta is mature, usually after 36 weeks.

Generally speaking, if the placenta grade exceeds the reference value at the corresponding gestational age, it is considered to be overmature.

However, when evaluating the placenta grade, the doctor's personal subjective factors are very large and inaccuracies often occur. Therefore, there is no need to worry too much if the placenta is simply over-mature. As long as indicators such as fetal heart monitoring and amniotic fluid are normal, there is usually no problem.

Generally, no treatment is required, just regular checks of the placenta, amniotic fluid, fetal heart rate monitoring, etc. are sufficient. If the pregnancy is overdue and the placenta function has degenerated, threatening the health of the fetus, the doctor will take measures to end the pregnancy early. Some studies have shown that the lack of trace elements may cause placental aging, so it is recommended that pregnant mothers try to have a balanced and comprehensive diet.
