What are the symptoms of amenorrhea in women? Be careful if you have these reactions

Generally speaking, women's menopause period is between the ages of 40 and 50. If the menopause time is not controlled well, it will cause great harm to women's bodies, and they will easily age and become irritable, leading to long-term anxiety and insomnia. Therefore, you must understand the time of menopause in advance and adjust your physical condition in time. Generally, women will experience these 8 symptoms before menopause.

1. Menstrual disorders

Irregular menstrual cycles can be manifested by the following four symptoms:

1. Changes in menstrual volume: Menstrual volume may be normal or less than before. Some menstrual periods may be prolonged or become continuous vaginal bleeding. There may also be sudden heavy vaginal bleeding, or amenorrhea. In short, the menstrual flow is very abnormal.

2. Irregular menstruation: Irregular menstruation may be prolonged or intermittent amenorrhea may occur. Sometimes the menstrual cycle will gradually extend from one month to two or three months until menstruation no longer occurs.

3. Changes in menstrual blood: The color of the blood becomes lighter, pink, or even black, mixed with small blood clots and fiber fragments. The amount of menstrual blood also changes. For some women, the amount of menstrual blood gradually decreases, but for others, the bleeding increases or even becomes heavy. The length of the menstrual period also varies. Some women gradually become shorter and only last 2-3 days, while for other women, the menstrual period is prolonged and can last up to 10 days.

4. Sudden menopause: The menstrual period was normal before, but menopause suddenly occurred after the age of 50. Some women will also experience a gradual decrease in menstrual flow until they reach menopause.

2. Hot flashes

Hot flashes are a very common symptom before menopause. It is a sudden feeling of heat flowing through the body, especially the head, face and chest. At the same time, the face will become flushed, followed by sweating and chills.

3. Osteoporosis

Estrogen is a key hormone in maintaining healthy bones and can speed up the absorption of calcium. But when menopause is approaching, ovarian function declines, estrogen in the body decreases, and a large amount of bone mass is lost, which affects bone health.

4. Emotional agitation

Postmenopausal women are prone to becoming irritable and agitated, or depressed and suspicious. In short, they are unable to control their emotions and appear very irrational.

5. Reproductive system changes

The breasts begin to shrink and contract, the urethral mucosa becomes thinner, and even urinary incontinence may occur. The vaginal skin becomes dry, wrinkled, and has reduced elasticity.

6. Postmenopausal bleeding

Some women suddenly experience uterine bleeding after a period of amenorrhea. This is because the ovarian function has not completely disappeared and estrogen can still be secreted, causing bleeding, but the amount of bleeding is relatively small.

7. Palpitations

Some women also experience palpitations and anxiety when they have hot flashes, but these symptoms do not last long, only a few minutes at most. In mild cases, they occur several times a day, while in more severe cases, they may occur more than ten times a day.

8. Autonomic dysfunction and limb numbness

9. After menopause, women will lose a lot of calcium in their bodies, leading to osteoporosis. Therefore, calcium supplementation after menopause should be considered common sense. After menopause, the estrogen level in the body decreases, and the effect of calcium supplementation alone is not ideal. In order to prevent the occurrence of osteoporosis, you should understand the hormone level and supplement hormones under the guidance of a doctor. It is better to combine it with calcium supplementation.
