What issues should we pay attention to during test tube transplantation?

For a couple, they certainly hope to get pregnant smoothly through normal means and then give birth to a healthy baby, but due to various reasons, many people cannot become pregnant successfully. In the past, it was extremely difficult to solve this problem, but today, IVF technology has become more and more mature, so more and more people are choosing IVF. So what are the precautions during the IVF process?

First, precautions after IVF transplantation

1. Start to rest in bed for 48 hours after you get home. Except for going to the bathroom, you can lie flat, on your side, or on your stomach, but do not get up. You can recline in bed, but the angle must be less than 45 degrees.

2. Do not take a bath within 48 hours.

3. After the transplant, avoid strenuous exercise, such as jogging or cycling, but walking slowly is good for your health and safety.

4. Don’t overwork yourself.

5. Get more rest and enough sleep.

6. Keep a normal mind and don’t worry about gains and losses.

7. If you experience abnormal abdominal pain, bloating, or vaginal bleeding, contact a medical institution immediately so that you can receive immediate treatment to preserve the pregnancy. Therefore, whether or not you need to lie down or take a leave to rest after the embryo is implanted is decided by the expectant mother herself, because these measures will not affect the success rate of IVF. But if you have time, please try to rest as much as possible. If you are constipated, do not force a bowel movement, wait until you feel the urge to defecate. You can also supplement folic acid to help the embryo develop normally.

Second, what can’t you eat after IVF transplantation?

(1) Longan and lychee

Although longan and lychee have the effects of calming the nerves, replenishing blood, nourishing blood and benefiting the spleen, they are too warm in nature. Not only can they not achieve the effect of stabilizing the fetus after eating them, but pregnant women are prone to symptoms of threatened abortion such as spotting, abdominal pain, etc. Avoid eating after transplantation.

(2) Almonds

It contains the toxic substance hydrogen cyanide, which can enter the fetus through the placenta after ingestion and affect the healthy development of the fetus.

(3) Shanzha

It has the effects of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis and contracting the uterus, so it is easy to cause miscarriage or premature birth after pregnant women eat it.

(4) Black fungus, Auricularia auricula

It has the effects of nourishing the stomach, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. If pregnant women eat it, it is not conducive to the growth and safety of the embryo, and it may resist pregnancy, cause miscarriage and premature birth.

(5) Purslane

It is cold and slippery in nature, has a significant stimulating effect on the uterus, and can easily cause miscarriage if eaten by pregnant women.

(6) Long-stored potatoes

The content of bioalkali is high, which can affect the normal development of the fetus after consumption and cause slow fetal growth.

(7) Hot spices

Fennel, aniseed, prickly ash, pepper, all-spice powder, etc. are hot spices. After eating, they can easily consume water in the intestines, causing constipation, increasing abdominal pressure, and compressing the uterus and fetus, which can easily cause spontaneous abortion, premature lamb, and premature rupture of membranes.

Third, what should you pay attention to in your diet?

1. After the IVF transplant, you can eat whatever you want, especially eat more vegetables and protein-rich foods. It is recommended to eat one grapefruit every day.

2. It is best not to consume alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, tea, sesame oil, bananas, papayas, crabs, corn, coix seeds, sesame oil and other foods and drinks that are not good for the embryo.

3. After IVF, it is best to drink soy milk every day, as soy milk can promote the growth of the endometrium.

4. In order to prevent ascites, it is best to drink diuretic drinks such as orange juice and watermelon, eat easily digestible foods, soup noodles, porridge, vegetarian buns, etc., to prevent dry stools and excessive abdominal force from damaging the ovaries.

5. After in vitro fertilization, you should not eat foods that may cause miscarriage, such as black fungus and leeks. After the transplant, you cannot eat foods that promote blood circulation, such as hawthorn, almonds, and longan. Don't eat rapeseed, as it will cause the embryo to shrink. Can't eat papaya and banana. Don't eat foods that are too salty or too sweet. Avoid spicy food.
