What causes white spots on nipples?

Breast health is very important for every woman, because breasts are the first and only gender characteristic of women and the most important source of breast milk secretion. Therefore, protecting breasts is very important for women. There are also many breast diseases that constantly threaten women's health. For example, what is the cause of white spots on nipples?

White spots on nipples are also magical and frightening things - some white spots can cause pain, and many people believe that it is one of the important reasons for milk blockage.

①Nipples are not mysterious . Most of the time they are just small blisters that have not broken. If they break, they are called nipple chapped! Therefore, nipples are often painful, which is more obvious when sucking milk, but a few mothers report that it does not hurt much.

This small blister can appear in various colors. If it is mainly tissue fluid, it will be light yellow; if it is mixed with a little blood, it will be watery red or blood red; if it is mixed with milk, it will be white.

Sometimes, milk can get into the blister - there is a tiny hole in the blister, and the baby keeps sucking with negative pressure in his mouth, so the milk can be sucked in. When the sucking stops, the negative pressure disappears and there may be a valve at the small hole that seals it again. This is the origin of Xiaobaipao.

Some white things on the nipples are not white bubbles if you look closely, but some lipid or waxy secretions. This substance may be seen in the small holes of the nipples during pregnancy. After the baby is born, the milk remaining on the nipple will dry and shrink into small lumps like this. You can easily get them out by gently wiping them or picking them out with a toothpick.

If the milk remaining on the nipple is richer in protein and lipids, these small lumps will be more common. It will also have an impact if the mother eats too much greasy food. For mothers who mix-feed their babies, their children suck less and the intervals between feedings are longer. The small white spots have more time to shrink and are not easy to fall off, so the chance of their occurrence is higher.

This thing is harmless and has local antibacterial and moisturizing effects. It is not a big deal if children eat it. There will only be a small piece of milk curd in the stool. At best, it's a little ugly - but no one cares about the little holes in the nipples except the mother herself. It's harmless if you really can't help but remove it, but don't be too rough to avoid hurting the nipple skin.
