What does uterine biopsy mean?

Cervical puncture biopsy is actually a very simple and basic examination of the uterus for female friends. The examination takes a short time and is also a more practical examination because it can conveniently and accurately detect the physical condition of a woman and can accurately identify her gynecological diseases.

Cervical biopsy is mainly used to detect intentional lesions or abnormal cells in the patient. It is the most important and effective step in detecting cervical cancer. For early, late and even late stage gynecological diseases, cervical biopsy is unavoidable. Because for women's cervix, a test for living tissue is used, that is, cervical puncture biopsy, which is to remove some specific tissues from the cervix, and then conduct a pathological examination, and then combine the results to make a diagnosis of the patient's condition, so as to provide targeted treatment.

The general process of cervical puncture biopsy is that the relevant medical staff will disinfect the patient's vulva, private parts and cervix, and then use special puncture biopsy forceps to remove a piece of specific tissue at the location where the change occurred, and then soak it in an aqueous solution of formalin solution, and finally observe and analyze the medical record.

The method of cervical puncture biopsy is: after disinfecting the private parts, vagina, and cervix, use a specially made puncture biopsy forceps to take a small piece of tissue according to the location and requirements of the lesion, put it in 10% formalin solution to fix it, send it to the laboratory for cutting, coloring, observation and analysis under a microscope, and then make a pathological diagnosis.
