What are the causes of ovarian infertility?

The ovaries are important organs for ovulation. Once abnormalities occur, normal ovulation will be affected. Common causes of ovarian infertility include congenital abnormalities, oophoritis, polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian tumors, etc. If female friends who are trying to get pregnant have not gotten pregnant for a year, it is best to go to the hospital for relevant examinations to see if it is caused by ovarian abnormalities.

1. What are the causes of ovarian infertility?

1. Congenital abnormalities: Women who consult about what to do about ovarian infertility should understand the cause. There are gonadal dysgenesis syndrome, xxx syndrome, true hermaphroditism, and testicular feminization, all of which are not within the scope of infertility treatment.

2. Ovarian inflammation: It can be divided into tuberculous and non-substantial ovarian parenchymal inflammation and peripheral inflammation. For inflammation, anti-inflammatory treatment should be the main treatment; for those with surrounding fibrous adhesions, laparotomy or laparoscopic adhesion lysis can be considered; for tuberculosis patients, anti-tuberculosis treatment can be performed.

3. Polycystic ovary syndrome: It can be treated with medication, followed by ovarian wedge resection and oophorectomy, cyst puncture and other therapies, which can also achieve good results. Laparoscopic polycystic ovary drilling is used to treat polycystic ovary syndrome. This surgery performed under laparoscopy has the characteristics of simple operation, less postoperative pelvic adhesion and quick recovery. After minimally invasive surgical treatment, conception can usually be achieved in the second month.

4. Ovarian tumors: Ovarian cysts are sometimes related to ovarian infertility. What should we do about ovarian infertility? Multiple follicular cysts that secrete excessive estrogen can cause persistent anovulation. Ovarian solid tumors such as various hormone-secreting tumors, granulosa cell tumors that secrete female hormones, and ovarian cystic cell tumors.

2. How to prevent ovarian infertility?

1. Reduce the chance of passive smoking.

2. Reduce the intake of salt, alcohol and coffee to reduce the possibility of osteoporosis.

3. Choose fresh milk or special milk powder for menopause to prevent osteoporosis caused by decreased ovarian function.

4. Regularly consume foods rich in phytoestrogens, such as soybeans, lentils, cereals, wheat, black rice, sunflower seeds, onions, etc. Making soy milk with soybeans, red beans, and black beans and drinking it every day is a very safe way to supplement phytoestrogens and should be maintained for a long time.

5. Take vitamin E capsules at half of the maximum intake every day. Facts have proved that vitamin E not only has the effect of enhancing ovarian function, but also has the effect of anti-cellular oxidation and anti-cellular lipid peroxidation, ultimately playing an anti-aging effect.

6. Strengthen physical exercise: Yoga, swimming and brisk walking are considered to be important ways to release physical and mental stress, maintain ovaries and increase bone density.
