Will vomiting be an early symptom of cervical cancer?

Will vomiting be an early symptom of cervical cancer?

There will be no vomiting in the early stages of cervical cancer. The first symptom in the early stages of cervical cancer is bleeding after sexual intercourse or vaginal bleeding after menopause. When cervical cancer becomes more serious, leg swelling will occur. If the tumor invades the rectum and bladder, defecation and urination may become difficult or even blood in the urine and stool may occur. Therefore, once you detect symptoms of cervical cancer, you must seek timely treatment.

Cervical Cancer Symptoms

1. Vaginal discharge

Patients often experience increased vaginal discharge, which is white or bloody and has a fishy odor. In the late stage, due to damage to cancerous tissue, infection, etc., a large amount of purulent or rice-soup-like foul-smelling leucorrhea will appear.

2. Frequent and urgent urination

When the lesions spread to the pelvic connective tissue, pelvic wall, compress the ureter or rectum, and cause sciatica, patients often complain of frequent urination, urgency, anal distension, constipation, tenesmus, swelling and pain in the lower limbs, etc. In severe cases, it can lead to ureteral obstruction, hydronephrosis, and finally uremia. These early symptoms of cervical cancer are relatively common.

3. Vaginal bleeding

Young patients often present with contact bleeding, which occurs during sexual intercourse, gynecological examinations, and after defecation. The amount of bleeding may be more or less, generally depending on the size of the lesion and the extent of invasion of the interstitial blood vessels.

4. The amount of bleeding is small in the early stage, but in the late stage, the lesions are larger and manifest as heavy bleeding. Once larger blood vessels are eroded, it may cause fatal massive bleeding. This is also an early symptom of cervical cancer.
