From a clinical perspective, after suffering from endometrial cancer, B-ultrasound shows that the size, position, and degree of myometrial infiltration of the uterus have been affected. The symptoms are very different from those of a normal uterus, and further examination and treatment are needed. Experts say that obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, menstrual disorders, early menarche and late menopause are all common causes of endometrial cancer. 1. Ultrasound examination of endometrial cancer Hysterosonography is of certain significance in assessing endometrial cancer in terms of uterine cavity size, location, degree of myometrial infiltration, whether the tumor has penetrated the uterine serosa or involved the cervical canal, and its diagnostic consistency rate is 79.3% to 81.82%. It has been reported that the accuracy of ultrasound in examining patients over 45 years old and comparing it with hysteroscopy and biopsy is about 87%. In addition, Xie Yanggui and others performed B-ultrasound examinations according to the UICC staging method. According to the tumor site, muscle invasion, parauterine and adjacent organ involvement, and compared with surgical exploration and pathology, the staging consistency rate reached 92.9%. B-ultrasound is a non-invasive and non-radioactive examination for patients, so it is one of the routine examinations for endometrial cancer. It has certain reference value, especially in understanding myometrial invasion and clinical staging. 2. Risk factors for endometrial cancer include: 1. Obesity. Excess fat will increase the storage of estrogen and increase the conversion of androstenedione to estrone in plasma. This increase in free active estrogen may be a carcinogenic or cancer-promoting factor for endometrial cancer. 2. Diabetes. The risk of endometrial cancer in patients with diabetes or abnormal glucose tolerance is 2.8 times higher than that in normal people. 3. Hypertension. Many patients with endometrial cancer are accompanied by hypertension. The coexistence of obesity, diabetes and hypertension in patients with endometrial cancer is called the "endometrial triad" or "endometrial cancer syndrome." All three may be related to a high-fat diet, which is directly related to endometrial cancer. 4. Menstrual disorders. The incidence of menstrual disorders and heavy menstruation in patients with endometrial cancer is three times higher than that in normal women. 5. Early menarche and late menopause. The incidence of endometrial cancer is 60% higher in women who have their first menstruation before the age of 12 than in those who have their first menstruation after the age of 12. The absolute age of endometrial cancer is 6 years later than that of normal women. 6. Number of pregnancy and delivery. Endometrial cancer occurs more often in women with multiple births, nulliparity, or infertility. |
