What is the best birth control method?

There are several contraceptive measures, the most common ones are oral contraceptives and condoms. The contraceptive success rate of oral contraceptives is very high, but taking contraceptives for a long time is not the best choice. Condoms can also be used as a good contraceptive method with a high success rate. If you want to choose a safe and effective contraceptive method, you can choose condoms. Learn more about the best contraceptive measures.

1. Liquid condoms: Contraceptive success rate is over 96%. Principle: Liquid condoms are a water-soluble, odorless, transparent paste-like liquid that can prevent sexually transmitted diseases in vitro and has a strong spermicidal effect.

Usage: Inject 4.2 ml of the cream into the vagina at one time 3 minutes before going to bed or having sex. The effect lasts for eight hours. Precautions: Excessive use may cause acid-base imbalance or allergy in the external reproductive tract.

2. Subcutaneous implant contraception: contraceptive success rate 99.9%

Principle: Subcutaneous contraceptive implants achieve the purpose of contraception by changing the viscosity of cervical mucus, preventing sperm from entering the uterine cavity; inhibiting the growth of the endometrium, which is not conducive to the implantation of the fertilized egg; and inhibiting ovarian ovulation.

Usage: Generally, it should be performed within 7 days of menstruation or at the same time as an abortion, and must be performed by a professional doctor.

Note: This contraceptive method is not suitable for people with severe anemia, hyperthyroidism, breast cancer, diabetes, hypertension, frequent headaches, uterine fibroids, ovarian tumors, severe skin diseases, hepatitis, nephritis and other diseases, as well as those with a history of ectopic pregnancy, breastfeeding women, women weighing more than 70 kg or taking anti-epileptic drugs or anti-tuberculosis drugs.

Applicable population: Women under 40 years old who need long-term contraception, as long as they are in good health, can use this method of contraception. It is especially suitable for women who are prone to failure when using contraceptive rings, women who cannot take contraceptives on time, and women who have concerns about sterilization surgery.

3. Oral short-acting contraceptives: contraceptive success rate 99.9%. Principle: Use drugs to inhibit ovulation and cause changes in the cervical lining.

Method: The first dose should be taken on the 1st to 5th day of the menstrual period, one tablet per day without interruption. The effect begins 14 days after taking it. Applicable people: women who have a normal lifestyle, live together with their spouses for a long time, and are in good health.

4. Contraceptive using condoms: Contraceptive success rate is 98%. Principle: Prevent sperm and egg from meeting.

Using condoms for contraception can also reduce male sensitivity, prolong ejaculation time, enhance sexual pleasure, and reduce the spread of certain sexually transmitted diseases. Therefore, it can be said to be a relatively good method of contraception.

5. Contraceptive injection: The contraceptive success rate is 99%. Principle: The hormone components contained in it can inhibit the ovaries and prevent ovulation, thus preventing the egg from being fertilized. Usage: Injected by doctor every month.

Features: It is safe and can prevent pregnancy with just one injection per month. Since the injection must be done by a doctor, the timing is not flexible.
