How to treat moderate pelvic effusion

How to treat moderate pelvic effusion

There are many reasons for pelvic effusion. Some women do not pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, especially using unqualified sanitary napkins, which will lead to bacterial infection and cause pelvic effusion. Everyone should understand the treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease to avoid some harm.

Pelvic effusion often causes lower abdominal pain, anal distension, back pain, excessive vaginal discharge, or sudden severe pain in the lower abdomen that gradually turns into distending pain and worsens during activity, affecting normal study, life and work.

Treatment of pelvic effusion

Western medicine treatment: Generally, when patients go to the hospital for examination and are diagnosed with pelvic effusion or pelvic inflammatory disease, the doctor will prescribe pelvic treatment, physical therapy, infusion and other treatments for the patients. The high cost of medicines does not produce very good results. Patients who take a lot of medicines for a long time will have serious damage to their gastrointestinal function, affecting their physical health.

Physical therapy: Benign warm stimulation can promote local blood circulation in the pelvic cavity. Improve the nutritional status of tissues and enhance metabolism to facilitate the absorption and disappearance of inflammation. Commonly used ones are shortwave, ultrashort wave, iontophoresis, wax therapy, etc.

Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment is suitable for patients with lumps such as hydrosalpinx or tubo-ovarian cysts; surgical treatment is also suitable for patients with small infection foci and repeated inflammation. The principle of surgery is complete cure to avoid recurrence of residual lesions. Unilateral oophorectomy or radical hysterectomy plus bilateral oophorectomy is performed. For young women, ovarian function should be preserved as much as possible.

General treatment: Relieve patients' mental concerns, enhance their confidence in treatment, increase nutrition, exercise, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, and improve the body's resistance.

Generally, mild pelvic inflammatory effusion can be treated with traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine can make the pelvic inflammatory effusion warm and damp, mainly promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.
