What medicine is suitable for urinary tract infection?

There are many treatments for urinary tract infections, but each person's condition is different, so you can't take medicine blindly. Urinary tract infection is divided into upper urinary tract infection and lower urinary tract infection, and is also divided into severity and urgency. Therefore, it is necessary to accurately understand your symptoms, take the right medicine, and strive for a speedy recovery. Below we will introduce the basic medications for urinary tract infections.

Urinary tract infections are divided into two categories: irritative symptoms (frequent urination, urgency, pain, and difficulty urinating) and obstructive symptoms (delayed urination, nocturia, slow urine stream, and dribbling). It is generally believed that obstructive symptoms, if they occur acutely and are accompanied by bacteriuria, may reflect prostate infection or inflammatory enlargement. In addition, bacteriuria can cause infection of the prostate, epididymis, seminal vesicles or testicles, in which case diagnosis can be based on local symptoms.

Patients with urinary tract infection can take quinolones or cephalosporins for mild cases. If the infection is accompanied by symptoms such as lower back pain, intravenous infusion may be required to relieve the symptoms.
