What is the reason for the test paper to be dark and light?

Many mothers are addicted to pregnancy test sticks. Even if the pregnancy test stick shows a strong positive (two deep bars) or they have already been diagnosed with pregnancy at the hospital, they still can't help using the pregnancy test stick when they get home. The editor has seen posts like this more than once on the Mama.com forum: At first the pregnancy test stick is strongly positive, with two bars of the same depth, but then one becomes dark and the other shallow, and even goes to white. This situation is likely to be an ectopic pregnancy!

Ectopic pregnancy refers to the fertilization of sperm and egg. Generally, the sperm and egg will secrete human chorionic gonadotropin after seven days. After another seven days, it can be detected with a pregnancy test stick. Usually, the sperm and egg have fertilized, but they must fuse into sperm and egg. The sperm and egg must return to the uterus for embryo implantation. Ectopic pregnancy means that they have fused, but have not returned to the uterus for embryo implantation, or have returned home and have not had any relationship. This type of pregnancy is called ectopic pregnancy.

The 4 main symptoms of ectopic pregnancy:

1. The pregnancy test stick can detect a weak positive, but it is difficult to detect a positive, let alone a strong positive. Generally, the measured color tone will become lighter and lighter until it reaches the white plate.

2. B-ultrasound cannot see the presence of a gestational sac in the uterine cavity. In a normal pregnancy, the gestational sac can be seen by B-ultrasound at 40-50 days of pregnancy.

3. A very low blood HCG value only indicates that you are pregnant, but it cannot indicate whether implantation is successful. Whether it is an ectopic pregnancy can be determined by checking the progesterone value (PRGE) and human chorionic gonadotropin (THCG), and the test results show significant differences.

4. Generally, miscarriage will occur within 50 days, and gray film-like cargo will flow out.
