What medicine should I take for endometrial thickening?

Endometrial thickening is a common interstitial hyperplasia that can occur at multiple stages of a woman's life. When endometrial thickening occurs, timely medication treatment should be given. It can be treated with certain Chinese medicines. The side effects of Chinese medicine treatment are relatively small. In addition, different medicines should be selected for treatment based on the different symptoms and physical conditions of women, so as to achieve better therapeutic effects.

(1) Damp-heat accumulation type: Treat by clearing away heat and dampness, promoting blood circulation and relieving pain. The prescription uses Si Miao Wan (Cheng Fang Fang Du) combined with Jie Du Huo Xue Tang (Yi Lin Gaicuo) with modifications.

Prescription: Atractylodes 10g, Phellodendron chinense 10g, Achyranthes bidentata 10g, Forsythia suspensa 15g, Red Peony Root 12g, Cortex Moutan 12g, Raw Coix Seed 15g, Peach Kernel 10g, Salvia miltiorrhiza 20g, Bupleurum 10g, Red Caulis 15g, Raw Licorice 10g

If accompanied by fatigue, enlarged tongue, teeth marks on the edges and other signs of qi deficiency, add 15 grams of Prince ginseng, 12 grams of stir-fried Atractylodes macrocephala, and 15 grams of Poria to invigorate qi, strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness; if menstrual bleeding continues, or there is a lot of lochia after delivery, add 20 grams of Motherwort, 3 grams of Panax notoginseng powder (taken with water), and 10 grams of Puhuang charcoal to remove blood stasis and stop bleeding; if abdominal pain is severe, add 6 grams of costus root, 10 grams of Corydalis yanhusuo, and 10 grams of Chuanlianzi to promote qi and relieve pain; if lumbar and sacral pain is obvious, add 20 grams of Dipsacus asper to nourish the kidney and strengthen the waist.

(2) Stasis and heat obstruction type: Treatment is to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, clear away heat and detoxify. The prescription is Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction (from "Yi Lin Gaicuo") with modifications.

Prescription: Angelica 12g, Chuanxiong 6g, Puhuang 10g, Wulingzhi 10g, Yuanhu 10g, Chuanlianzi 10g, Moutan Cortex 10g, Red Peony Root 10g, Dandelion 10g, Patrinia 10g, Raw Licorice 10g

For severe abdominal pain, add 10 grams each of frankincense and myrrh to promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis and relieve pain; if the amount of leucorrhea is heavy, add 10 grams of Phellodendron chinense and 10 grams of Plantago seed (package) to clear away heat, promote dampness and stop leucorrhea; for constipation, add 6 grams of Citrus aurantium and 6 grams of Rhubarb to relieve constipation; if lochia does not stop or menstrual bleeding does not stop, add 20 grams of Leonurus japonicus to remove blood stasis and stop bleeding.
