Can I have a gynecological examination during ovulation?

Women need to pay attention to their physical health issues and make sure to have regular gynecological examinations. In fact, you can have a gynecological examination during the ovulation period, but you cannot have sex before the gynecological examination. This is something you must understand.

1. Gynecological examination can be done during ovulation period. However, it may not be appropriate to do a check after having sex. Women with regular menstruation usually ovulate 14 days before the next menstrual period. The ovulation period is a total of 10 days, including the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation. There is no way for women with irregular menstruation to calculate their ovulation period. They can determine the ovulation period by observing leucorrhea, measuring basal body temperature, measuring ovulation test strips, and monitoring ovulation under B-ultrasound.

2. Ovulation is the process in which the egg cell and the surrounding cumulus granulosa cells are discharged together. Under normal menstruation conditions, a woman's ovulation period is counted from the first day of the next menstruation to the 14th day as the ovulation day. The 5 days before and 4 days after the ovulation day add up to the ovulation period.

3. This is because the egg can survive in the fallopian tube for 1-2 days after being released from the ovary, waiting for fertilization; the male's sperm can maintain fertilization ability in the female's reproductive tract for 2-3 days, so it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse a few days before and after the egg is released. Therefore, to be on the safe side, the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days is generally called the ovulation period. Since it is easy to get pregnant during sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or the dangerous period.
