What is the reason for leucorrhea with blood after giving birth?

Many women find that their leucorrhea is abnormal after giving birth, usually with blood in it. They are very worried about this situation but don’t know what is going on. And I dare not take medicine randomly during breastfeeding. Generally speaking, bloody vaginal discharge after giving birth is likely caused by gynecological diseases, and women should pay more attention to hygiene in their lives.

1. It is estimated that it is caused by cervical erosion. It is best to go to a regular hospital to see a gynecologist. For cervical erosion, first do a cervical smear to exclude precancerous lesions. Then do a pathogen test of cervical secretions to confirm which pathogen is causing it. If necessary, you can do pathogen culture + drug sensitivity test to select sensitive drugs for treatment. Drug treatment includes local and systemic medication. However, physical and surgical treatments are better for moderate to severe cervical erosion.

2. Such as candidal vaginitis, bacterial vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, senile vaginitis, etc. At this time, you should go to the hospital for examination in time, strengthen your physical fitness, do appropriate exercise, and if found, seek timely treatment. Do not take medicine without authorization. Sexual intercourse is strictly prohibited during treatment. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the genitals. During treatment, couples must receive treatment at the same time to achieve the effect of complete cure. In terms of dressing, avoid wearing tight jeans and tight nylon underwear. Choose cotton underwear instead.

3. When you find that you have too much vaginal discharge, exercising to strengthen your physical fitness is also a good way to deal with it. Getting enough sleep, eating a proper diet, balanced nutrition, and eating more foods rich in vitamins will all help you recover from the disease. For watery leucorrhea after childbirth, use less sanitary pads and keep the vulva breathable. Frequent use of sanitary pads will make it easier for bacteria to grow. So when you are not menstruating, try not to use sanitary pads. Wash the vulva with clean water every night and change your underwear. You should also use various liquid vaginal cleansing fluids less often, as doing so will damage the internal environment of the vagina and make it more likely to cause vaginal inflammation.
