The indications for conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy are: non-ruptured tubal pregnancy, gestational sac diameter less than 5cm, intra-abdominal free fluid less than 100ml, and B-HCG less than 1000u. No heart, liver, kidney or blood diseases.

Disadvantages of conservative treatment:

1. Conservative medication does not produce immediate results and may cause the risk of rupture of the pregnancy focus, which can be life-threatening.

2. Conservative medication lasts for a long time, and the treatment failure rate is as high as 50%.

3. The embryo killed during conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy will organize in situ, often causing blockage of the fallopian tube.

4. Medication treatment cannot find the cause of ectopic pregnancy, and the next pregnancy is likely to have another ectopic pregnancy.

5. Conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy may cause long bleeding time, anemia, infection and other complications.

6. The side effects of the drugs are great, and they can easily cause low white blood cells, gastrointestinal reactions and other discomforts. 7. Conservative medication takes a long time to treat, is expensive and has no definite effect.

8. Conservative treatment takes a long time and poses the threat of abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. During treatment, patients are always worried about treatment failure and are under great psychological pressure. Therefore, surgical treatment is the best option for ectopic pregnancy. .
