How to read the results of leucorrhea epithelial cell examination

The issue of leucorrhea epithelial cells must be taken seriously, because through the examination of leucorrhea epithelial cells, we can also better understand the reproductive health of women. If there are multiple false plus signs, it means that the situation is more serious. For female friends, they should also pay attention to regular gynecological examinations.

1. We should pay attention to the issue of leucorrhea epithelial cells. The answer to this question is as follows: make a smear of vaginal secretions and observe it under a microscope. The cleanliness of the vagina is determined by the number of vaginal bacilli, white blood cells (WBC) and miscellaneous bacteria. It is divided into 4 degrees: Grade I: There are a large number of vaginal bacilli and epithelial cells, no miscellaneous bacteria or white blood cells, and the field of vision is clean. It is normal secretions. Grade II: There are moderate amounts of vaginal bacilli and epithelial cells, a small amount of white blood cells and miscellaneous bacteria, and it is still normal vaginal secretions. Grade III: A small amount of vaginal bacilli and squamous epithelium, but a relatively large number of miscellaneous bacteria and white blood cells, indicating milder vaginal inflammation. Grade IV: There are no vaginal bacilli, only a few epithelial cells, a large number of white blood cells and miscellaneous bacteria. It indicates relatively severe vaginal inflammation, such as candidal vaginitis and Trichomonas vaginitis. If the other items are negative or negative, it is normal, otherwise it is pathogenic bacteria.

2. Epithelial cells are cells on the surface of human skin or cavity. The epithelial cells in the cervix, uterine wall, and fallopian tubes are columnar, while the epithelial cells in the vagina are squamous. Examination of leucorrhea epithelial cells is one of the routine examination items in gynecological examinations.

3. In the report form, leucorrhea epithelial cells are indicated by symbols to indicate the patient's condition. + indicates presence, multiple + indicates severe, and - indicates no findings. Generally speaking, the cleanliness of the vagina is divided into four levels. The first level is that the secretions contain a large number of vaginal lactobacilli and leucorrhea epithelial cells, but no miscellaneous bacteria or white blood cells. The field of view of the slide under a microscope is very clean, which is normal secretions. The second level is that there are moderate amounts of vaginal lactobacilli and epithelial cells, a small amount of white blood cells and miscellaneous bacteria in the secretions, but there is no need to worry about this situation because it is still normal vaginal secretions. The third level is that the patient's vaginal secretions contain a small amount of vaginal lactobacilli and squamous epithelium, but there are relatively more miscellaneous bacteria and white blood cells, which indicates that the person has a milder vaginal inflammation. The fourth level is that there are no vaginal lactobacilli in the secretions, only a small amount of leucorrhea epithelial cells, but a large number of white blood cells and miscellaneous bacteria, which indicates that the person has relatively severe vaginal inflammation, such as candidal vaginitis and Trichomonas vaginitis.
