How long does it take from the start of ovulation to the end of ovulation?

Human life is very strange. When a woman starts from ovulation, accepts male insemination and finally becomes pregnant, this process does not happen quickly, but takes a relatively long time. I think for couples who have been wanting to have a baby, they will pay special attention to the ovulation period, because having sex during this period will greatly increase the probability of pregnancy. If you are preparing for pregnancy, do you also want to know how many days it takes from ovulation to embryo implantation after having sex?

How many days does it take from ovulation to embryo implantation?

The fusion of male sperm and egg cells into sperm and egg combination is the first step. After fertilization, the sperm and egg combination will undergo cell division and move from the bilateral fallopian tubes to the uterus, and the embryo will implant in the inner wall of the uterus. Here is the actual process:

1. It takes about 24 hours for sperm and egg to combine. When a capacitated sperm enters the zona pellucida of a secondary coil oocyte, sperm-oocyte fusion begins. When the sex chromosomes of the egg pronucleus and sperm pronucleus combine together, it means that the sperm-egg fusion has taken place.

2. During the cleavage and blastocyst production period, the somatic cells of the sperm and egg undergo metabolic changes, and the trophoblast cells emerge from the protruding adhesions that are covered among the adjacent somatic cells. Since the cell surface can transmit environmental influences to the test tube embryo, the changes in the cell surface can be described by nutrient uptake, division, preparation for embryo implantation or mitosis.

3. After 36 hours of sperm and egg combining in the bilateral fallopian tubes, they disintegrate into two somatic cells, and after 72 hours they disintegrate into 16 somatic cells, which are called morula.

4. On the 4th day after fertilization, the cell mass enters the uterus and continues to grow in the uterus. At this time, the cells have broken down into 48 cells, becoming a blastocyst ready for implantation. The blastocyst can secrete a growth hormone that helps the blastocyst embed itself into the uterine wall.

5. On the 6th to 7th day after fertilization, the blastocyst begins to implant. The embryo implantation site is mostly in the upper 1/3 of the uterus. Embryo implantation means that the test tube embryo has been placed and has begun to form an embryo and create a fetus.

Therefore, 6-7 days after the fusion of sperm and egg, the combination of sperm and egg will start the whole process of embryo implantation. The answer to "how long does it take to get pregnant after the fusion of sperm and egg" is 6-7 days.
