What are the symptoms of accessory breast hyperplasia?

What are the symptoms of accessory breast hyperplasia?

Accessory breasts are extra breasts besides normal breasts. The sizes of accessory breasts vary and they are easily overlooked when they are too small, so it is important to understand the symptoms of accessory breast hyperplasia. In addition to being identified by shape, accessory breasts can also be identified by pain.

1. Tenderness

The patient presented to the doctor with a lump near the armpit. After inquiring about the medical history, it was revealed that the patient had experienced swelling and pain during menstruation, pregnancy, and lactation, but the degree of pain varied greatly. Hyperplasia of breast tissue in the accessory breast causes painful symptoms and local tenderness in the accessory breast.

2. Lump

Physical examination revealed lumps in the axillae with local tenderness and no obvious nodules; the lumps in the axillae increased significantly during pregnancy or lactation. A careful examination revealed that there was a nipple, and there was discharge when squeezing the nipple, and there was discharge from the nipple near the armpit.

3. Inflammation

Accessory breast may be accompanied by fibroids and acute inflammation of the accessory breast; it may also be accompanied by chronic lymphadenitis and acute lymphadenitis. Therefore, when clinically diagnosing and treating accessory breast, it is important to note that the local pain in patients with accessory breast may be caused by local lymphadenitis. When treating accessory breast with painful symptoms, consider the patient with local lymphadenitis as the main symptom and improve the quality of life for treatment.

4. Note

If a woman suffers from accessory breast hyperplasia, she will generally experience pain, swelling, and lumps in the accessory breast area. In severe cases, the normal movement of the arm will be affected. If you experience any abnormal sensations in this regard, you must go to a regular hospital for examination in time, then receive symptomatic treatment, and also adjust your lifestyle habits. For individual patients, a clear diagnosis can be made through multiple follow-up examinations. For obese patients, care should be taken to distinguish the lump from subcutaneous fat, especially when the lump is not large. Careful palpation should be performed to find that the accessory breast tissue is rougher and slightly harder than the subcutaneous fat, and has a relatively clear boundary.
