What to do if vaginal tear bleeding

If vaginal tearing and bleeding occurs, then you need to pay attention to the correct solution to reduce the adverse effects on women. Vaginal tearing is usually prone to occur during the delivery process. Dry stool and vaginal dryness during sexual intercourse may also cause vaginal tearing and bleeding.

1. Causes of perineal laceration

1. Delivery: The delivery of the fetal head is the most important step in the delivery process. When the fetal head is about to be delivered through the vagina, the vaginal opening and surrounding tissues are compressed due to the continued descent of the fetal head. Local swelling, thinning and even shining can be seen. At this time, if you do not pay attention to protecting the perineum, not only the perineum may be torn, but it may even be torn all the way to the anus.

2. Dry stool: Due to excessive heat or hot weather, the stool is prone to dryness, which can also lead to perineal tearing.

3. Sexual life: Because of inflammation, the vagina is prone to dryness and loss of elasticity, and the perineum is easily injured or even torn during intercourse. How to protect the perineum when the fetal head is delivered? When the fetal head is about to be delivered, one important thing that medical staff must pay attention to during the delivery process is to protect the perineum.

2. Repair method

The steps of the layered surgery are as follows:

1. Vulva and vagina disinfection;

2. Use soapy water and gauze to clean the vulva and vagina. Rinse with clean water, and then use 1:1000 Sanisol to rinse the vulva and vagina. A gauze roll is placed inside the rectum to prevent intestinal secretions from overflowing. Before cutting the vaginal wall, it can be disinfected with 75% alcohol.

3. Expose the surgical field: Spread the sterile sheet and separate the labia minora to the sides and sew them on the labia majora and sterile sheet.

4. Incision: Use tissue forceps to grasp the end of the ruptured recto-vaginal wall. Make an incision at the junction of the vaginal mucosa and the rectal mucosa, and reach the sides of the depression on both sides of the anus, that is, the sides of the folds where the anal sphincter is retracted into the stump. Trim away any remaining scar tissue.
