When is it difficult to get pregnant? It turned out to be this period of time

Some couples who do not have plans to have children always think about contraception, which has a certain impact on their sex life. In fact, you can judge whether you are in the ovulation period by observing the basal body temperature and the changes in vaginal secretions. It is not easy to get pregnant during the safe period.

1. It is least likely to get pregnant during the safe period. The safe period refers to the ovulation day 14 days before the onset of menstruation for women with normal menstrual cycles. The 10 days between the 5 days before and the 4 days after the ovulation day are the ovulation period. The rest of the time is the safe period, but it is very unsafe. The first seven days and the last eight days of menstruation are safe and belong to the safe period. There is nothing wrong with doing it at this time. You will not get pregnant under normal circumstances! The ovulation period is usually the day between two menstrual periods. It is easiest to get pregnant 7 days before and after the ovulation period, because the egg cells discharged by women can survive in the vagina for about 3 days, and the sperm of men can survive for about 4 days. So if you don’t want to get pregnant, try not to do it in the middle few days! The middle week of the menstrual cycle, that is, between the 13th and 16th days before menstruation, is the most fertile time and contraception is required.

2. Basal body temperature method: Basal body temperature refers to the body temperature of a healthy person after waking up in the morning. It is generally the lowest body temperature of the day. For women of normal childbearing age, body temperature rises immediately after ovulation and continues until the start of the next menstrual cycle. Use the changing pattern of a woman's basal body temperature to find her ovulation period, and avoid having sex 3-4 days before and 5-7 days after.

3. Observation of changes in vaginal secretions: Female vaginal secretions change regularly at different stages of the menstrual cycle. During ovulation, the amount of mucus increases, the vagina feels damp, the mucus becomes clear, and the mucus can be stretched into threads, up to 10 cm long. The last day this mucus lasts is generally the ovulation period. Do not have sex for 3-4 days before and 5-7 days after sex.
