The harm of endometrial adhesion may lead to infertility!

Endometrial adhesion can easily cause female infertility, which is mainly caused by the damage of the endometrium. Endometrial adhesion is very harmful to the human body. For example, women may experience symptoms such as oligomenorrhea and amenorrhea. Therefore, endometrial adhesions must be treated promptly.

1. Secondary oligomenorrhea and amenorrhea:

The endometrium undergoes adhesions to varying degrees, and the menstrual volume experienced by the patients varies. Mild adhesions may result in only a slight reduction in menstruation, moderate adhesions may result in a significant reduction in menstrual volume, and severe adhesions may lead to scanty menstruation or even amenorrhea, mainly because the endometrium is severely damaged. It accounts for about 60%-90% and can last for a long time.

2. Female infertility or recurrent miscarriage:

Due to intrauterine adhesion, the endometrium is damaged and the uterine volume is reduced, which affects the normal implantation of the embryo and leads to infertility. Even if conception occurs, it affects the embryo after implantation and the growth and development of the fetus, leading to miscarriage and premature birth. If a woman has repeated abortions or curettage, it is easy to cause endometrial adhesions. The patient often experiences amenorrhea with cyclical abdominal pain and scanty menstruation, which can lead to female infertility.

3. Cyclic abdominal pain:

Generally, sudden lower abdominal pain and a feeling of heaviness and distension in the anus will occur one month after the operation. In severe cases, the patient will feel restless and have difficulty moving. The pain usually lasts for 3-7 days and occurs cyclically. Female patients often feel tenderness in the lower abdomen, and may even experience rebound pain. If a gynecological examination is performed, it will be found that the uterus is abnormally large and there is obvious tenderness. When examining the bilateral adnexa, mild cases may be normal, while severe cases may have tenderness or thickening, or a lump may be felt, etc.
