There are so many reasons for vertigo, nothing more than these factors

Dizziness is a common symptom that can occur in any age and population, especially middle-aged and elderly people are more prone to dizziness. There are many reasons for dizziness. Anemia is a major cause, and some diseases may also cause dizziness. So what exactly causes dizziness?

1. Iron deficiency

Fatigue and weakness are the main symptoms of anemia. Due to iron deficiency in the body, the red blood cells decrease, the oxygen-carrying capacity of hemoglobin decreases, and the brain does not get enough blood oxygen, which causes dizziness.

2. Migraine

A British professor who studies migraines said that dizziness is often a precursor to a migraine attack, which is caused by the narrowing of blood vessels in the brain and reduced blood flow.

3. Dehydration

The brain is mostly made up of water. Once the body is dehydrated, the brain will malfunction. A professor said that when you are dehydrated, your blood viscosity increases, your body temperature rises, and your heart rate increases. Therefore, when you feel dizzy, try drinking a large glass of water.

4. Allergies

Allergens such as peanuts, cats, dust, and pollen may also cause vertigo. Allergies can cause mucus to build up in the sinuses and middle ear, affecting the inner ear's balance organs and causing vertigo.

5. High blood viscosity. Hyperlipidemia, thrombocytosis, etc. can cause high blood viscosity and slow blood flow, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the brain and symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, and weakness. There are many reasons for high blood lipids, the most important of which is the unreasonable diet structure.

6. Patients with arteriosclerosis feel dizzy and often suffer from insomnia, tinnitus, emotional instability, forgetfulness, and numbness in the limbs. Cerebral arteriosclerosis reduces the inner diameter of blood vessels, reduces blood flow in the brain, causes insufficient blood and oxygen supply to the brain, and causes dizziness.

7. Cervical spondylosis often causes tightness in the neck, limited flexibility, occasional pain, numbness, coldness, and a feeling of heaviness in the fingers. Cervical spondylosis compresses the cervical vertebral arteries, causing insufficient blood supply to the brain, which is the main cause of dizziness caused by this disease.
