How to take a bath in the healthiest way for women in summer

How long before bedtime is the healthiest to take a shower?

It is best to take a bath 2 hours before bedtime. This is because, after we fall asleep, the temperature of our body surface will drop, and a hot bath will increase our body temperature, affecting the brain's secretion of sleep hormones, which will in turn drive away our sleepiness. If you are really forced to take a shower before going to bed, you can use a wet towel to apply cold compress to your forehead for 5 minutes to allow your body temperature to return to normal levels.

Bathing in summer should be healthy and particular

1. Temperature

The temperature of bath water in summer should be around 37℃, which is close to our body temperature. Too high water temperature will reduce blood flow to the heart and brain, and easily cause hypoxia.

Bath water that is too cold will cause open pores to suddenly close, blood vessels to suddenly contract, and heat in the body to be unable to dissipate, making it easy for people to experience symptoms such as weakness in the limbs and body aches.

2. Number of times

People sweat a lot in the summer, so it is enough to take a bath once a day. If the sebaceous glands secrete vigorously, you can adjust the bathing time appropriately. Each bathing time should be about 15 minutes. Too long a bathing time can easily cause hypoxia.

Don't take a shower in these situations, no matter how hot it is.

1. Sweating all over

In summer, we generally like to take cold showers, but when we are sweating profusely, the sudden stimulation of cold water will quickly shrink the dilated subcutaneous blood vessels, the secretion of sweat glands will stop, and the heat cannot be discharged. It can continue to dissipate, which can easily cause colds or other diseases.

2. When blood pressure is too low

When taking a bath, if we use hot water, it will dilate our blood vessels. People with low blood pressure will not get enough blood supply to the brain, causing collapse.

3. When you have a fever

When the fever reaches 38℃ or higher, the body is relatively weak and accidents are likely to happen when taking a bath.

4. After drinking

When taking a bath, the body needs to consume more glucose, and alcohol will inhibit liver function and hinder the release of glycogen. At this time, taking a bath cannot replenish blood sugar in time, which can easily cause dizziness, general weakness, and even hypoglycemia coma.
