What is the contraceptive method for cervical erosion

Cervical erosion in women is a common gynecological disease. The main clinical symptom is abnormal vaginal discharge, such as texture, odor, and amount of vaginal discharge that are different from normal vaginal discharge. Generally, the high-risk group for cervical erosion is mostly married women. However, the main cause of cervical erosion is due to abnormal sexual life. So how should women prevent pregnancy when they have cervical erosion?

Sexual activity too early and too many sexual partners. Premature sexual activity, frequent changes of sexual partners, and excessive sexual intensity (more than 4 times a week) are causes of cervical erosion that cannot be ignored. Unclean sex life. Since premarital sex is mostly secretive and cannot create a stable and clean sexual environment, the chance of getting sick is greatly increased. Multiple abortions. Multiple abortions, diagnostic curettage, cervical dilation and other gynecological surgeries caused by premarital sex may lead to cervical injury or inflammation, and ultimately cause cervical erosion.

Generally, clinicians recommend that patients with cervical erosion use the following methods for contraception:

1. Short-acting or long-acting contraceptives.

2. Condoms, because they can also prevent vaginal bacteria from being transmitted to the other person.

Guidance:

Patients with cervical erosion should not use:

1. Vaginal diaphragm. Because the vaginal diaphragm is placed in the vagina for more than 8 hours after each sexual intercourse, it will affect the excretion of vaginal secretions and may aggravate inflammation.

2. Contraceptive rings. During the insertion of the ring, bacteria from the vagina or cervix may be brought into the uterine cavity and cause endometritis or pelvic inflammatory disease. For women who already have pelvic inflammatory disease, the condition may be aggravated after the placement of the ring.

3. External contraceptives are somewhat irritating, so they should not be used.

However, for cervical erosion, try not to have sexual intercourse. During this period, you should consider the health of your cervix and reduce the number of sexual intercourse. At the same time, both men and women should pay attention to maintaining genital hygiene. At the same time, cervical erosion should be treated in time, and men should give appropriate care at this time.
