What causes urethral bleeding in women?

There are many reasons for urethral bleeding in women, such as ectopic pregnancy, urinary stones, urinary tract infection, etc. These reasons can cause urethral bleeding in women. Some patients with kidney disease may also experience symptoms of urethral bleeding, so when these conditions occur, timely treatment is required.

The causes of hematuria include renal pelvic stones, ureteral stones, glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis, lesions of tissues and organs adjacent to the urinary tract, blood diseases, infectious diseases, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, hypercalcemia, hyperuricemia, urinary tract tumors, renal artery sclerosis, congenital renal malformations, kidney ptosis or wandering, heavy physical labor or long-distance running, drug toxicity, lumbar trauma and other factors that damage the blood vessels and cause blood to seep into the urine.

The clinical manifestations of urethral bleeding vary. Frequent urination, urgency, urinary retention, dizziness, tinnitus, irritability, thirst, soreness of waist and knees, and lower abdominal distension are common characteristics of various hematuria, but:

1. Patients with urinary stones may experience severe low back pain, frequent and urgent urination, painful urination, difficulty urinating, and obvious hematuria.

2. Patients with urinary tract infection may suffer from bilateral low back pain, frequent urination, urgency and pain when urinating. People with complications of renal tuberculosis are characterized by low fever and night sweats in the afternoon.

3. People with nephritis may suffer from edema and high blood pressure.

4. Patients with kidney cancer have hematuria throughout the whole process.
