What is the cause of ovarian cyst disease?

Sometimes there is a very important thing for women, and sometimes health is the most important one. A particularly serious thing is that female ovarian cyst disease is a disease that is very easy to change. So what about the most common lesions, the super-cystic lesions? Will there be any serious consequences? Today we have collected many types for everyone to learn about.

1. Non-neoplastic ovarian cysts: also called functional cysts, ovarian tumor-like lesions: this is the most common cyst. Pregnancy luteum tumor, ovarian stromal hyperplasia, theca cell hyperplasia, severe ovarian edema, single and multiple follicular cysts, corpus luteum cysts, multiple luteinized follicular cysts, multiple corpora lutea, etc., among which follicular cysts and corpus luteum cysts are the most common. Occurs in women of childbearing age during the ovulatory cycle, is unilateral, and has thin walls.

2. Tumorous ovarian cysts: Ovarian cysts that are still present after three months of observation may be tumorous ovarian cysts. To be more precise, they are ovarian tumors. Since they are tumors, they can be benign or malignant, cystic or solid. Clinically, ovarian tumors are divided into four categories based on their histogenesis: epithelial tumors, germ cell tumors, sex cord-stromal tumors, and metastatic tumors. Because the ovaries are located deep in the pelvic cavity, there are often no obvious symptoms in the early stages, so they are often ignored by people and are not easy to detect early. Therefore, once it is confirmed to be an ovarian tumor, such as serous cystadenoma, mucinous cystadenoma, benign cystic teratoma, etc., although most of them are benign, they may transform into malignant ones, so early diagnosis and early surgical resection are required.

3. Endometriosis cyst (chocolate cyst): a special type of ovarian cyst. Endometriosis lesions can invade any part of the body. Ovarian chocolate cyst refers to the ectopic endometrium growing in the ovary, forming a large amount of sticky brown liquid like chocolate in the ovary. Although it is a benign disease, it has malignant behaviors such as proliferation, infiltration, metastasis and recurrence. This type of ovarian cyst is one of the most common diseases in women of reproductive age, 25-45 years old. Because endometriosis lesions will grow larger over time, they will gradually erode normal tissue and cause irreversible damage to ovarian tissue. After evaluating its severity, surgery may be required.

4. Fallopian tube ovarian cyst: It is not an ovarian cyst in the true sense. It is not a functional ovarian cyst, nor a non-functional ovarian cyst. It cannot even be counted as an ovarian cyst because it may be an inflammatory cystic effusion located in the mesentery between the ovary and the fallopian tube. There is often a history of infertility or pelvic infection, and there may be linear cystic masses in the adnexal areas on both sides with clear boundaries and limited movement. However, because it is often difficult to distinguish from ovarian cysts, it is temporarily classified as an ovarian cyst.

What is ovarian cyst disease? I think everyone will have a very clear understanding of this issue after reading the above introduction. But don't always think that it is not a difficult or complicated disease and don't take it seriously. If this seemingly common disease worsens, it will bring you unimaginable consequences. Therefore, we should pay attention to our bodies, whether good or bad.
