We all know that breasts are where milk is produced. Women during pregnancy should pay special attention to their breasts to prevent the situation where the breasts have no milk after giving birth. If you do not take good care of your breasts, you may very likely suffer from weaning and poor milk quality. However, many people do not know how to care for their breasts. Breasts are very delicate and require careful care. So how do you care for your breasts during pregnancy?

The gestational period is the number of weeks of pregnancy. Medically, the gestational period refers to the period from the first day of the last menstrual period (not the day of intercourse) to the end of delivery. Learn about pregnancy knowledge. Usually forty weeks.

During pregnancy, metabolism is vigorous, the amount of metabolic products increases, and the fetus's metabolic products also need to be excreted through the mother's kidneys, which increases the burden on the kidneys and changes renal function. Therefore, protein or sugar often appears in the urine of pregnant women.

1. Choose a suitable bra: After pregnancy, under the stimulation of hormones in the body, the breasts proliferate, the mammary ducts develop, the mammary alveoli develop, the breast tissue grows and increases, the nipples become erect, are sensitive to stimulation, and often experience tenderness, swelling and other discomforts. Choosing a suitable bra at this time can effectively relieve these symptoms, support the breasts and prevent changes in breast shape.

A suitable bra should be able to be tightened or loosened at will; as the bust increases, the bra size needs to be adjusted accordingly; the correct position of the bra to support the nipples should be at the level of the nipple line between the elbow and the shoulder to prevent the weight of the breasts from pulling the bra toward the back.

2. Breast cleaning: Cleaning the breasts can not only keep the mammary ducts unobstructed, but also help increase the toughness of the nipples and reduce the occurrence of complications such as nipple fissures during lactation. During the colostrum appearance stage, colostrum tends to form scabs on the nipples, which should be softened with ointment first and then removed with warm water.

Pregnant women can prepare a clean towel when cleaning their breasts and wash their breasts with warm water every day. Be careful not to cause irritation or soreness to the nipples when scrubbing. In the last three months of pregnancy, you can use a dry towel to rub the nipples to enhance their elasticity and help prevent nipple rupture. After washing the breasts, it is best to apply a small amount of olive oil on the nipples and gently rotate the nipples with your index finger and thumb for 30 seconds.

3. Nipple care: A normal nipple should be cylindrical, protruding from the breast plane and forming a knot shape. . People with flat or slightly inverted nipples often naturally protrude after giving birth. If the nipple is inverted, it may cause difficulty in breastfeeding after delivery, or even make breastfeeding impossible, milk stasis, and secondary infection leading to mastitis. Therefore, women with inverted nipples should start trying to correct them during the 5th to 6th month of pregnancy.

Method: Place the thumbs of both hands near the inverted nipple, press down on the breast tissue, and then gradually push outward toward the areola. Do it 4 to 5 times every morning or before going to bed. After the nipple is slightly protruding, use your fingers to gently lift it to make it more prominent. Each time you wash your breasts, dry them with a soft towel, pinch the base of the nipple with your fingers and gently pull outwards, and knead the nipple for a few minutes. If you persist in this process for a long time, you can overcome inverted nipples and make them protrude.
