There are always a few days every month when women feel extremely miserable and irritable. Because they are menstruating. Menstruation is a good friend of women. It makes us anxious when it doesn't come, and it makes us suffer when it comes. The pain lasts for a whole week. However, many women have also asked why they suddenly started bleeding after their period. So let’s find out what’s going on. There are many reasons for non-menstrual vaginal bleeding, including lesions of the vagina itself, lesions of the uterus, and ovarian endocrine dysfunction. Ovulation bleeding: During the period between two regular menstrual periods, that is, the ovulation period, the estrogen level drops temporarily due to ovulation, causing the endometrium of some women to lose the support of estrogen, resulting in endometrial shedding and causing regular vaginal bleeding, which is called ovulation bleeding. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it "intermenstrual bleeding." After the mature follicle ruptures and ovulates, the estrogen level drops sharply and significantly, which cannot maintain the growth of the endometrium, causing the surface layer of the endometrium to rupture and fall off locally, resulting in a small amount of breakthrough bleeding. With the formation of the corpus luteum of the ovary, sufficient estrogen and progesterone are secreted to quickly repair the ruptured surface layer of the endometrium and stop the bleeding, or it may be during the ovulation period. Mature follicles secrete more estrogen, causing endometrial congestion and leakage of red blood cells. It is also possible that when eggs are captured in the fimbria of the fallopian tube, the blood-containing follicular fluid is sent to the uterine cavity through the retrograde peristalsis of the fallopian tube and then flows out of the cervix through the vagina. It usually occurs on the 12th to 16th day of a regular menstrual cycle, usually lasts for several hours or 2 to 3 days, no more than 7 days, and the amount is significantly less than normal menstrual bleeding, and the bleeding can stop on its own. After reading this, I believe everyone has understood why bleeding does not occur during menstruation. There are many reasons for non-menstrual bleeding, which can be roughly divided into two categories. One is that it leads to lesions and diseases. The other is the normal phenomenon of menstrual period, that is, normal ovulation. We need to find out the cause so that we can prescribe the right remedy. |
