It has always been a tradition for Oriental people to stay in confinement after giving birth, so as to avoid various confinement diseases in the future. The traditional way of confinement is not to take a bath, let alone brush teeth. Many mothers cannot accept this way, especially in the hot summer, it will be very uncomfortable if they do not take a bath. In fact, the requirements for bathing have been relaxed now. So how many days after giving birth can you take a bath? Avoid taking a bath within two weeks. To avoid catching a cold, avoid taking a bath within two weeks after delivery. From the third week onwards, you can use sliced ginger + boiled water for shower, but the bathing time should not be too long. A room temperature of 20 degrees and a water temperature of 34 to 36 degrees are most suitable, and the bathing time is about 10 minutes. After washing, dry your body quickly and put on clothes in time to avoid catching a cold. You can take a bath only after the full moon. Do not blow wind, no matter it is hot wind or cold wind. After delivery, the pores of the whole body, including the pores of the scalp, are open. At this time, if there is wind, no matter it is hot wind or cold wind, the pores will shrink immediately, which can easily cause postpartum muscle and bone pain, headache, head wind, and even cold. The room must be ventilated to keep the air fresh, but be careful not to allow drafts. Avoid washing your hair, but use the correct method to clean your scalp. The increased burden on the uterus during pregnancy is unspeakable. Just look at the size of the uterus before and after. Therefore, the uterus must be restored to its original state as soon as possible after delivery. If you want the uterus to recover function as soon as possible, the most important thing is to completely discharge the dirty blood in the uterus. If the uterus can be made into a vacuum state, the secretion of hormones will be particularly active, and the function of the uterus will be better than before pregnancy! Washing your hair will seriously affect the discharge of postpartum lochia. As soon as the scalp is exposed to cold, the dirty blood in the uterus will immediately coagulate into blood clots and be difficult to discharge (causing stagnation of qi and blood in the mother). If the waste blood in the uterus is not cleared away, it is very likely to cause hormonal imbalance and endocrine disharmony, and then produce many complications, such as irregular menstruation, body pain, etc. in the future. Therefore, you should avoid washing your hair within 30 days after giving birth to avoid endless troubles! Through the above introduction, everyone is clear about how many days after delivery you can take a bath. Generally speaking, you cannot take a bath within two weeks, let alone wash your face, brush your teeth, or touch cold water. After two weeks, you can gradually do some basic cleaning work, but the bathing time should not be too long, you still have to control it in moderation. |
