What are the early symptoms of uterine adenomyoma?

Tumors are not uncommon in our lives, and many tumors exist in people's bodies in various strange ways. If not treated properly, they will spread throughout the body. Adenomyosis is a type of adenomyosis. It is more serious than adenomyosis, but this does not mean that it is incurable, because the early symptoms of adenomyosis are easier to treat than the late symptoms of adenomyosis. Next, let us learn about the early symptoms of adenomyosis.

1. Common symptoms of adenomyoma

The main manifestations are menorrhagia and progressive dysmenorrhea. The dysmenorrhea is severe, manifested by persistent lower abdominal pain, back pain, anal distension, and nausea and vomiting. Often leads to infertility or anemia. Gynecological examination shows that the uterus is enlarged, and most cases are uniformly enlarged. Hard and tender. A small number of patients may have nodular protrusions or irregular surfaces. During menstruation, the uterus may enlarge, become softer than usual, and be more tender. A small number of patients experience pain during sexual intercourse and develop acne and chloasma on their faces.

2. Clinical manifestations of adenomyoma

When the endometrium diffusely invades the uterine muscle wall, it is called adenomyosis. If the invaded endometrium is limited to a certain part of the myometrium, causing the smooth muscle cells in that part to proliferate extremely and form a sphere, some people call it adenomyosis. Both of the above are endometriosis. Because the ectopic endometrium does not extend beyond the uterus, it is also called intrinsic endometriosis. The patient's uterus is often enlarged, but usually not exceeding the size of a two-month pregnant uterus. If the uterus is removed and opened, small cavities of varying sizes can be seen on the cut surface of the uterine wall, which contain old blood. Endometrial glands and stroma can be seen during microscopic examination. If it is an adenomyoma, the adenomyoma tissue is connected to the uterine muscle wall tissue, which is different from uterine leiomyoma. Sometimes the two can be distinguished by the naked eye. The formation of adenomyosis or adenomyoma may be related to long-term stimulation of excessive estrogen.

Invasion of the endometrium into the myometrium is called adenomyosis. Uterine adenomyoma is a common gynecological disease, but it is not unique to humans. Similar changes can also be seen in the uterus of many animals, such as primates and rodents. The reasons for this are not yet fully understood. Because it is more common in married and pregnant women, it is generally believed to be closely related to pregnancy, curettage, induced abortion and childbirth. About 20% to 50% of adenomyosis is complicated by endometriosis, about 30% is complicated by uterine fibroids, and it is also common to have pelvic inflammatory disease.

Warm reminder: The patient's main symptom is gradually worsening dysmenorrhea. As the uterus increases in size, the area of the endometrium also increases, so patients often complain of increased menstrual flow. Endometrial adenomyosis is often complicated by excessive endometrial hyperplasia, which is also the cause of increased menstruation. About half of patients suffer from infertility. The treatment of this disease is mainly surgical removal of the uterus. If the patient is young, the ovaries can be retained.

After reading the early symptoms of adenomyoma, women should pay special attention to whether they have the above conditions. Because many tumors have a latent period, they are not easy to be discovered. Over time, they will evolve into various pathogens that will harm people's bodies again and endanger people's health. Therefore, for any disease, we should detect it in time and receive treatment in time to minimize the damage caused by the disease to our body, so that we can recover completely.
