What are the causes and treatments of ovarian cysts?

Nowadays, women pay attention to health preservation and weight loss, but often because of these reasons, they forget how to take care of their bodies! This is because in this age where appearance is everything, people are paying more and more attention to their appearance and are trying to find ways to improve their external image. Even if there is something wrong with the body, people may not notice it accidentally. So when women face ovarian cysts, do you know the cause and how to treat it? Hear what the experts say.

Causes:

1. Genes. According to statistics, 20-25% of ovarian tumor patients have a family history.

2. Endocrine factors. Although the ovaries are small, they are important organs that produce eggs and ovulate, secrete hormones, and balance endocrine system. Ovarian tumors often occur during the reproductive age when endocrine system is active. Clinically, the basic pathophysiological change in many patients with ovarian cysts and polycystic ovary syndrome is that the ovaries produce too much androgen, and the excessive production of androgen is the result of the synergistic effect of abnormal functions of multiple endocrine systems in the body.

1. Surgical treatment of benign ovarian cysts:

① Ovarian cystectomy: Most of these patients have no menstrual disorders, and some even have complicated pregnancy. If the tumor is more obvious on one side, a salpingo-oophorectomy on the affected side can be performed.

② Unilateral ovarian cysts during salpingo-oophorectomy occur in older patients (over 45 years old), while bilateral ovarian cysts are mostly treated with unilateral or bilateral oophorectomy. During the operation, attention should be paid to the patient's pulse, breathing, and blood pressure changes. When necessary, the infusion or blood transfusion, oxygen supply should be accelerated. Early detection of acute gastric dilatation, paralytic intestinal obstruction, and the resulting water and electrolyte imbalance and blood chemistry changes should be prevented.

2. Surgical treatment of malignant ovarian cysts:

① Since ovarian malignant cysts are often adhered or infiltrated with the uterus and adnexa, and are closely attached to the pelvic peritoneum, the uterus and tumor are often removed in one piece, such as omentectomy, partial intestinal resection, partial bladder and ureter resection.

We can summarize that the cause of this disease is due to four factors: genetic inheritance, poor endocrine system, incorrect lifestyle, and environmental influences. So we should know what aspects we should pay attention to when we get this disease. Similarly, there are two treatment methods, benign and malignant! Everyone can choose how to treat it according to their own situation.
