Introduction

A TCM term for liver-qi stagnation. The liver has a function of venting, and it likes comfort and hates depression. If the liver fails to release its energy or the mood becomes depressed and uncomfortable, it may cause liver qi stagnation. The most common clinical manifestation is flank pain. Chest tightness. Abdominal distension. Belching. Women with irregular menstruation and other symptoms.

Women may experience the following symptoms:

1. The depression and anxiety caused by liver qi stagnation often lead to headaches, irritability, mood swings, chest and flank pain, abdominal distension, and endocrine disorders in women.

2. Whether a woman's menstruation is normal or not is closely related to the normal function of the liver's qi regulation. If the liver qi is not regulated, it can lead to too short a menstrual period, small menstrual volume, intermenstrual bleeding, dizziness during menstruation, and insomnia during menstruation.

3. The liver meridian runs through the flanks. Poor operation of the liver meridian may also lead to breast hyperplasia, breast nodules and even breast cancer.

4. Liver depression leads to insomnia, which is manifested as difficulty falling asleep, and even if you fall asleep, you will have many dreams and be easily startled. Failure to ensure sleep quality can cause women to lose their qi and blood, have rough skin, and have a dull complexion. Among them, insomnia caused by liver depression and fire transformation is mostly caused by anger damaging the liver.

5. Stagnation of liver qi will lead to unfavorable qi flow and loss of appetite, because of slow metabolism, weakness in limbs, laziness and lack of movement, thus causing problems such as obesity and constipation.

4. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment

Angelica sinensis is an auxiliary medicine for nourishing blood and promoting blood circulation. Costus root, Magnolia bark and Poria cocos are adjuvant drugs for regulating qi and strengthening the spleen. All the medicines are used together to soothe the liver, regulate qi and relieve depression, replenish liver blood, and invigorate the spleen and nourish the middle.
