Complete picture of female herpes

Herpes generally refers to herpes, which is mainly a disease caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus and can occur in anyone. If women want to know whether they suffer from this disease, they need to have a certain understanding of its symptoms. So, what are the symptoms of herpes in women?

Symptoms of herpes in women

Herpes zoster: a subacute infectious skin disease caused by varicella-zoster virus infection. Children who have no immunity to this virus are infected and develop chickenpox. Some patients become carriers of the virus after being infected but do not develop symptoms. Because the virus is psychotropic, it can remain dormant in the nerve cells of the dorsal root of the spinal nerve for a long time after infection. When the immune system is low or when you are tired, infected, or have a cold, the virus can grow and multiply again and move along the sympathetic nerves to the skin, causing significant inflammation of the affected nerves and skin.

Varicella-zoster uveitis: It can be congenital or secondary, and the acute fundus macular necrosis syndrome it causes has become a major blinding eye disease. Isolation of varicella-zoster virus from infected tissue can confirm the diagnosis of infection. Slit lamp examination can detect anterior uveal lesions; ocular fluorescence angiography can detect fundus macular vasculitis and fundus macular neonatal vasculitis and relative atypical changes.

Herpes zoster of the upper eyelid: Typical lesions occur in the skin areas of the first trigeminal ophthalmic nerve (frontal nerve, lacrimal nerve and nasociliary nerve) or the third main trigeminal nerve (rarely), resulting in clustered vesicular rashes.

What is herpes in girls

Herpes refers to small yellow-white or transparent blisters that appear on the surface of the skin. They often appear in a group and are filled with fluid. Smallpox and chickenpox all have this type of symptom; the second refers to a skin disease, the pathogen is a viral infection, which mostly occurs on the upper lip or face. The symptom is that the part first itches, and then small blister-like protrusions appear, containing transparent liquid, which is slightly painful, and heals with scars after one or two weeks. Herpes is divided into genital herpes, herpes simplex, and herpes zoster. Due to the degeneration of intercellular bridges (desmosomes and supporting strips, etc.) in the epidermis, the cells lose their close connection and become loose, resulting in cracks, sores or ulcers in the epidermis. Acantholysis can be caused by autoimmune factors, such as herpes. Acantholysis caused by genetic factors is common in chronic familial herpes simplex and keratosis follicularis.

Causes of herpes in girls

Genital herpes is caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus (HSV). There are two types of herpes simplex virus infection: HSV-1 and HSV-2. HSV-1 is closely transmitted through the respiratory system, skin and mucous membranes, mainly causing infection of the lips, pharynx, eyes and skin, and rarely (about 10%) can also cause infection of sexual organs. HSV-2 is the main pathogen of genital herpes (90%), which exists in secretions, semen, and prostatic secretions of skin and mucous membranes. It is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse and causes primary genital herpes. After the primary genital herpes disappears, the residual virus infection remains dormant in the sacral nerve fibers along the nerve axis for a long time through the abducens nerve. When the body's resistance is reduced or some stimulating factors such as fever, cold, infection, menstruation, gastrointestinal disorders, trauma, etc. occur, the latent virus infection in the body can be activated and break out. Humans are the only hosts for herpes virus infection. The virus cannot survive outside the body. Ultraviolet light, medical ether and general disinfectants can eliminate it.
