Is it normal to have back pain when I am almost 3 months pregnant?

Many women will have symptoms of lower back pain after three months of pregnancy. At this time, most women will be nervous. After all, if a pregnant woman feels uncomfortable, it will affect the fetus. So you must eat why you have symptoms of lower back pain three months into pregnancy, so that you can make timely adjustments to your body. Otherwise, not only will you feel uncomfortable, but it will also have certain harm to your baby.

reason:

1. Because the fetus is located in front of the lumbar spine, as the pregnancy weeks increase, the mother's upper body will gradually become reverse arched in order to maintain balance (that is, the typical backward leaning posture of pregnant women).

At this time, the lumbar curvature increases, and the supporting force of the abdominal muscles weakens, so the lower back muscles of pregnant women will be in a state of excessive tension. At the same time, due to the concentrated blood supply to the fetus, the hypoxia of the back muscles becomes more serious, and lower back pain is inevitable at this time.

2. During pregnancy, the ovaries secrete a substance called relaxin, which reduces the tightness of collagen in the joints, causing the joints to relax and the ligaments to loosen, weakening the strength to support the body. Especially towards the end of pregnancy, the sacroiliac joints and interpubic fibrocartilage and their ligaments become loose, which can cause lower back or pelvic pain.

Conditioning:

Maintain good posture when standing, sitting, and sleeping.

Standing posture: In the middle and late stages of pregnancy, you should avoid standing for long periods of time. Sit down or lie down if you feel any discomfort.

Sitting posture: Pregnant women can put a soft cushion on the back of the chair to relieve back pressure; and their feet can also be placed on a low stool to help blood circulation in the legs.

Wearing shoes that fit comfortably can relieve the symptoms of back pain. Avoid high heels, even wide-soled high heels with a wider support surface.

After finding the cause, you can make timely adjustments to your body. During pregnancy, women must pay attention to taking good care of their bodies so that they can have a healthy baby. Otherwise, you may have a miscarriage and the baby will be unhealthy. At that time, it will be difficult to recover and it will also have a great impact on your body.
